btw tonight's episode annoyed me because it had that old soap rule that you can order a drink in a pub, then when it arrives say you've changed your mind and walk out. If I did that in my local the landlord would have me in a headlock before I reached the door.

The Maisie/Mark scene was fantastic, as was the Mark/Faye scene in the cricket field, Natasha's scenes at Home Farm, and the juxtaposition of Ryan/Maisie at Tenants Cottage about to sleep together for the first time with Mark/Faye bidding a tearful last goodbye. Just fantastic stuff and fantastic performances all around.

I can't even remember what the non-Wylde/Lamb parts today were about - they just faded from the mind with the intense stuff going on elsewhere.

And Wednesday comes the more major reveal of the two reveals -

Oops sorry! Didn't say that Faye was ginger - that's far too modest a term for hair that glowy.... Congrats if you have that same hair color - you must get complimented a lot. ”

Sorry myself for being a bit touchy about it, only used to get a lot of teasing when younger, I think it's how the strong studio lights hit her hair because sometimes it looks darker, gorgeous colour anyway and, yes I do get complemented now for it

I was just thinking tonight that Nicola's maternity leave seems to be going on forever? Isn't most maternity leave about 6 months? It must be up some time soon, although who knows what state Home Farm will be in when she returns.

Finally watched the episode properly, loved the ending. You don't see good old family scenes like that much anymore, brother and sister snogging in the bedroom, while their dad snogs his 1st wive while his 2nd watches, what close family bonds.

Also, Carl has the ability to piss me off my just sitting down, its that smug smirk he always wears. I find myself shouting at the screen "YOU KILLED YOUR FATHER", followed by words I shall not repeat on this forum.

You have hit on one of my big bugbears, namely ordering food/a drink & walking out without paying, eating or drinking. I have never seen this happen in my local & I'm sure if they did they would end up wearing it.

As for the Mark, Faye, Gnasher, Maisie, Ryan story, I just hope the last two did get it on, the fall out from that, if well written, should be really good. I'm not too keen on these murder whodunnit stories, I'm still not over the Tom King debacle. I find them cheesy & with the run up to the murder, the writers manoeuvre as many characters as possible into possible murderers. I would have liked for him to stay alive & his life being totally ruined by being a bigamist & everyone taking their chunk of his spoils & life . I think it would have been better if Faye had been leading him on & then when he announced he was leaving Gnasher, for Faye to tell him to take a running jump & for Gnasher to report him to the Police. I think this would have shown characters at their basest & emotional.

What's happened to Debbie? Crudely written out & then no mention whatsoever. I know she's preggers & Davids gone missing as well, but I hope they write her out properely when she goes on maternity leave

I agree- there is no way I would be allowed to go around order drinks or food without paying for them. People are always ordered sandwiches/ cakes in soap cafes and them walking out the door as they are about to get served saying they don't want food anymore and without paying for it!!
they should have at least have had him put some money down on counter or something

Me too, actually. I've worked in a pub and it is chuffing annoying when a customer does that! I feel extra bad if effort has been put into the no-longer-wanted food or drink.
