Eddie is the iconic mascot for Iron Maiden
Iron can be pumped (I'm told) in gyms
I know this because I saw it on Dodgeball, which starred Ben Stiller
Ben Stiller unwittingly added that little something extra (cum) to Cameron Diaz's hair in "There's something about Mary"

Little Red Corvette - Prince

By the end they were walking on two feet

A Town Called Malice – The Jam

There was a TV drama years ago called 'Malice Aforethought'.
The lead role in Malice Aforethought was played by Hywel Bennett.
Hywel is a Welsh name.
Irving Welsh wrote 'Trainspotting' .
Trainspotting was about a bunch of underdogs trying to kick their drug habit.

Land Of Make Believe - Bucks Fizz

Cher's #1 Single Believe featured one of the earliest uses of a program called Auto Tune
Something else that qualifies as an Auto is an Austin 1100 Estate
An Austin 1100 Estate was once given a damn good thrashing by a notorious Torquay Hotellier (Exhibit 1)
…about as good as example of Rage Against the Machine as has ever been seen.

^ Very good lateral thinking, lol

Betcha By Golly Wow - The Stylistics

The Golly was a former trademark used by Robinsons Jam, before it was deemed to be in bad taste.

Mrs Robinson was the theme tune to 'The Graduate' movie which starred Dustin Hoffman.

Dustin Hofman was in the film 'Midnight Cowboy'

A cowboy wore chaps when he went out on his horse.

If he didn't wear chaps he would probably get a blister on his thighs.

MOTM was about Andy Kaufman
Andy Kaufman played Latka Gravas in Taxi, where the cabs were big and yellow

Aloud is how you would describe something played at high volume

Volume can be measured in cc (cubic centimeters)

10cc had a hit with 'Rubber Bullets'

Synthetic rubber is an ingredient in chewing gum.

Waterloo - Abba

The battle of Waterloo was fought in present day Belgium.
If you've never had Belgian Truffles, you've missed out bigtime
Truffles are not just chocolates, they're also fungi - as are Mushrooms
There were some HUGE red and white spotted Mushrooms in TinTin's adventure "The Shooting Star"
Shooting Star was a hit in 1978 for Dollar
A Dollar is, coincidentally, very nearly the cheapest cost if you wanted to send a Letter from America to the UK.

Ooby Dooby - Roy Orbison

Dooby Duck was a kid's TV character.

Ducks are often found on ponds in farms.

There, in a nutshell, is the farmyard connection

The Farm Yard Connection - Fun Boy Three

(Apologies, that was a bit of a cop out !)

Rabbit was a big hit for Chas And Dave
Chas And Dave also sang Snooker Loopy
In the game of snooker you may use a spider
Spider was a character in Corrie whose real name was Geoffrey
Geoffrey kept the house in order in Rainbow

You just knew that one would end up with a reference to the kids show, dinchya?

Buttons & Zips is a track on Elbow's Cast Of Thousands album.

Cast Of Thousands is also the name of The Adverts' second album.

The Adverts' first nationwide tour poster read "The Adverts know one chord, the Damned know three. See all four at…"

In 1984, The Damned appeared on the BBC sitcom The Young Ones.

The Young Ones' punk metal character, Vyvian Basterd, was played by Adrian Edmondson.

In 2008 Adrian formed the band, The Bad Shepherds, with Maartin Allcock, Andy Dinan & Troy Donockley.

The Bad Shepherds' album, Yan, Tyan, Tethera, Methera! includes a cover of The Jam's - Down In The Tubestation At Midnight!

There's No Other Way - Blur
Dream Catch Me - Newton Faulkner

The video for the song There's No Other Way famously featured a food fight between the band and family members, including a giant Blancmange at the end.

Blancmange were a British New Wave band who came to prominence with a string of hits in the early to mid 1980s including their cover of Abba's "The Day Before You Came"

ABBA was an abbreviation of the first letters of each members name, in the same way that 3D stands for 3rd Dimension.

Robert "3D" Del Naja is a founder member of Bristol trip-hop collective Massive Attack - their best album Mezzanine featured the classic hit Teardrop.

The same song appeared on Newton Faulkner's 2007 hit album, Hand Built By Robots.

The third single released from this album was Dream Catch Me and made number 7 in the UK charts...

I thank you.

Blue Savannah - Erasure

Blue is a colour, with a spectral wavelength of roughly 440–490 nm
In physics, wavelength is commonly designated by the Greek letter lambda (λ).
Instead of using a monogram, the sign for lambda (λ) was used by Louis XIII of France as his personal symbol.
Louis XIII is the king referenced in Dumas' epic tale of chivalry - "The Three Musketeers"
A Musketeer not only had to carry a musket, but gunpowder, balls, a selection of tools (these things always went wrong) and a ramrod
A rod is a distance of measurement (16.5 ft long). In a quaint old piece of English nonsense, 4 Rods is the exact distance that two batsmen need to cover to get one run.

Run To The Hills - Iron Maiden

The lead singer of Genesis during the 80's and 90's was Phil Collins who shared the same name as amercian singer and songwriter Judy Collins.

One of Judy's biggest hits was the tuly awful "Send in the Clowns".

One of the funniest parts of a Clowns act is when they pretend to throw a bucket of water over the crowd but more often than not it has either glitter or nothing inside it.

If there's no water in the bucket then we safely assume there must be a hole in it and therefore....

My Bucket's Got A Hole In It - Hank Williams Junior
