Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood's ran a shop on the King's Road, Chelsea called Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die.

In 1974 a group of working class teenagers who hung around the store stole some instruments and formed a band called The Swankers.

They convinced McLaren to manage them and he promptly sacked the guitarist and changed their name to the Sex Pistols.
