Thats really cool - but why can't we have a married couple with a family? Dan hasn't got a wife, Charlie hasn't got a wife and now this new female character hasn't got a husband!

Yeh must say I'm not a fan of the whole Martin & Sonia storyline. It just wouldn't happen, he's a complete prat, he killed her fiancee, made her pregnant when she was 16, then denied the baby was his, then admitted only after he found she was giving it away. And now they're gonna get married! as if!

This is more of an insight on how much more "cockoo" the executive producer has become!

Yeh Berridge! lol She's kind of redeeming herself since last week but I wouldn't let her off just yet. Even my sister said yesterday that since she took over it seems EastEnders is being run into the ground.

I'm starting to think Sonia is rather attractive - should I seek help?

perhaps mickey will have 2 mums - or 2 dads. that would be cool. but just be involved in normal storylines like any normal married couple. (mind you - this is eastenders so one will almost be murdered by a mad homophobic axeman then a year later would go back to him and borrow money)

Yeah, agreed that the idea of Sonia marrying Martin is pretty unbelievable - perhaps she'd find a better selection of men if she tried to marry someone not from the Square? (Think how complicated those family trees get... pretty narrow gene pool there!)

I agree with Teenage Monkey, doesn't the EastEnd of London not have any families with a mother and a father? Don't get me started on characters dating people from the Square. Theres no world outside of Walford lol
