Need Advise
Im looking to cancel my phone and broadband service with Talk Talk (formerly Tiscali)
i can get a bt line reconnected for free from BT but i only want the line reconnected so i can go to either orange or sky for my phone line rental and broadband if i get the line reconnected do i have to stay with bt for the year or can i switch again just after the lines reconnected to another provider without being charged for the line to be connected |

You could decide if it's to be Sky or Orange, then phone up whichever one you decide to go with and swap to them - line rental and all. That way you can remove BT from the equation totally.
Phone TalkTalk, get a MAC for the broadband and give it to your new provider (you don't need to tell them anything about moving the line to a new provider, Sky or Orange will sort that side for you) Should cost you around about nothing, so that has to be good news! |

To use the current BT free line connection offer, you have to agree to an 18 month contract and to making 10 chargeable or inclusive calls via BT every month.
Jumping ship within the 18 months will cost you breach of contract fees. |

You can jump to Bt for the free line offer and choose Sky for your BB only and not Sky talk / line rental
Be aware of the increased price and offers that are not available if you go this way |
