I did look at tickets this morning on Ticketmaster but there were no floor seats available at either date and the best seats it offered me were in row Q. Am dithering now so will probably end up with none - there is always EBay I suppose ”

I very much agree with you there

Might hold off for a while and book at least a Weds (Tues is a nightmare work wise ) if Thurs dosen't become available soon.
I don't hold out much hope of Thurs though because as you say i seem to remember all dates being available straight away last year.

btw........ring up Ticketmaster rather than booking on the internet if you can be specific about block, row seat etc.

Can someone tell me how you get tickets for rows A and B? I've tried to get front row seats for the last 2 years, but no matter how early I try to book in advance, I have no luck.

I tried to get front row tickets for Manchester 2011 on the Sunday that they came out, but all they offered were seats in row M.

Ebay were already advertising dancefloor tickets for sale on rows A and B last Saturday - even before they went on general sale. How??????

I know that with Dancing on Ice, Ticketzone also sells tickets and they sell different blocks to Ticketmaster.

Last year I did what FairyGirl suggested and rang Ticketmaster and was able to get front row, floor for this year. I had registered with Ticketmaster the previous year and got an e-mail when they were going on sale so rang up at 9:00 that morning. Disgusting that people are allowed to sell on E-Bay at around £200 for 2 floor seats.

Also, I've found in the past that by ringing up TM direct, you get better choice of seats than whats offered online.

Ah, that's why I've never been successful. I assumed that Ticketmaster would offer the same tickets online as they do if you ring them.
Thanks Grannyannie - I'll try that in future.

Lukcy you getting front row - I'm so jealous! Have you been yet?

As far as I remember the Manchester dates were issued on the Friday the tour started, but for pre-booking only. They only went on general sale the day after the last performance - i.e. Monday

Birmingham dates next year 5th and 6th February(Sat and Sun) 2 performances each day.Appear to be on sale now from Ticket Factory although emails says not until Monday

I'm tempted to wait until after the show finishes next year to see who's touring - Birmingham released more dancefloor seats only last week, and some only a month ago, so it's not so hard to get good seats.

So up to now we've got confirmed dates 2011

25th Jan (Tues) Liverpool
26th Jan (Weds) Liverpool

5th Feb (Saturday) Birmingham
6th Feb (Sunday) Birmingham
7th Feb (Monday) .........i'd guess a day off
8th Feb (Tuesday) Manchester
9th Feb (Wednesday) Manchester

From my own POV i'm curious what will happen for the Thurs and the weekend after Manc.......still don't think they will stay in Manc for 6 days.

Maybe if they put London after Manchester they'll have the Thursday travelling and the London dates starting on a weekend? Seems strange for them not to have a show on a Thursday though..

I've just booked row E for Birmingham on the Sunday. Getting excited already - I've never booked anything a year in advance when I don't know who'll be there!

Decided not to wait to see if any more Manchester dates are announced as I want good seats. So have just bought myself 2 second row floor seats for the 9 Feb - only another 53 weeks to go
