Apart from him being hooooot, I really can't decide on his acting skills and whether he is portaying Nathan well.

Was just wondering what everyone elses thoughts were?

I think if portrayed by a better actor he could be a character that is Chris Tate like but with this guy playing him he is just a spoilt brat.

Nathan's a great character and a good addition- he's a mix of contradictions, insecurity and false bravado- he's intersting to watch as oppose to a lot of other characters I could think of- I think Lyndon doing a great job

I have to say I though the whole Wylde family are great addition, really like Maisie (I know a lot of people don't) and Will, I think Natasha is fab though she definitely went a little too far last night!

Ok Maxwell is a bit ropey (although I liked Mark in a bizarre way) but I though all the others were great this week

Am really curious to see how things are going to develop from here

I think he has had his moments so far and future storylines will reveal whether or not he could be a really strong character. He definitely impressed when he was charming Leyla and playing his games but recently he's been a bit too nice for my liking.

I actually really enjoyed it when he was sticking up for Maisie in the Maisie/Ryan storyline... I thought that was quite nice I like it when he's being nice!, but I also really enjoyed his manipulation of Leila - the way he acted that was really outstanding IMO.

I'm actually growing to like him and last night made me like him even more because of how he acted with Maisie after the big reveal.

I really dont mind Nathan as a character to be honest.
I thought he was lovely last night with Maisie.

Lyndon seemed really lovely in his interview with James the other morning on This Morning.
Seems like a lovely guy.

I enjoyed his interview

Not too keen on JS though. I met him once and he was quite rude.

I'm just simply basing my opinion on he was really rude to my friend when we met him, and not only that, he was quite rude to the other people who had waited in line for hours to meet him

Where did you meet him? I'm slightly jealous.

Same.

He does my head in when he's at his most scheming but I have a soft spot for him because I know that when it comes to Maisie and Will he is actually quite caring (been highlighted in the past few weeks.)

Him and Guy Burnet (Craig Dean) came up to a pub called The Glass Spider in Sunderland when I was in Uni (2008 I think), as did Jamie Lomas and Ricky Whittle (at different times, although Guy and James came up together) when he they were playing out the John Paul and Craig sunset ending.

Me and my friend, being avid Hollyoaks fans, waited in line for like, 4 hours to meet them and when James saw all the fans, all he did was answer a few questions that were put to him by the guy who was hosting the event and then went straight off the stage - he didn't even look or speak to any of the fans or sign any autographs. Guy, on the other hand, came to the front to shake hands/sign autographs and spoke to lots of the fans.

He wasn't rude to us specifically, albeit, but he was incredibly rude to the fans, especially, as it transpired, he went out the back to have a few drinks - it wasn't even as if he needed to leave early or anything. It was a big let down.

Why all the hate for the actor?
Whom none of you even know, have you ever seen or read an interview with him?
Pathetic that just because you don't like a character you automatically hate the actor. How nasty.

I personally think he's a really, really good actor. Well he must be if so many people despise his character which, I assume, is the intention.

I'm rather fond of the character of Nathan too, he can be completely dispicable, but I like that, we need a good villain around. We have the Dingles, Cain esp. but they're more petty criminals, thievery and violence [Cain] kind, whilst Nathan is a proper psycopath.
I don't think he's all bad though, he's only been around for what, 10 months? And you know he really cares about his family, I esp. love his relationship with Maisie and even Will.

Good character, great actor.
