It would have been better if...
Archie had put in his will that he wanted the names of everyone in albert square in a hat (in other words the cast plus a few extras) and whatever name was pulled out thats who got the vic.
Would have been great if Shirley got it. If this happened who would you like behind the vic? I would have loved if Janene had got the vic. "Celebration drinks on me?" LOL. |

I would still end up being a Mitchell, thats the way Diederick Santer wants it.

Hopefully once Santer leaves, Kirkwood is "brave" enough to move the Mitchells out of the pub. It's very dull now.

...and Billy always getting the worst in life i mean a stool for god sake could they not have given him Archies house.
What I didn't like about it was that it sort of gave the game away that a Mitchell was going to get the pub. It said something along the lines of "...so that he can never again be cast out from the bosom of his family." The Mitchell's couldn't cast him out if they didn't own the pub. |

In one way, I liked Archie giving Billy the stool - it made a point to the rest of the Mitchells about how they treat their family. Also, Archie never really liked Billy, he just used him, hence why he didn't get anything material.
