I notice she has no profile on the official site. Is she full time or not? I thought she would have been.

I've warmed to her a lot. Still think her 'acting' is a bit hit and miss but the character's great.

Since it's a law that the Mitchells feature heavily in every episode it is good that she is there to spice them up a bit. They were getting far too stale for my liking.

As far as I'm aware they're introducing her as a permanant character. I think that was why the original actress left- because the workload was too much for her to do full time

I hope she is anyway, I quite like her! I think there's a lot of potential with her character.

I agree, she brings a fresh dynamic to the family and as she has history with Peggy it gives them a believable rivalry. I quite enjoyed their little clash tonight - the stuff about Eric seemed to hit a raw nerve.

I didn't like her-can't we just have someone who is normal with no hidden agenda? I thought she might just be there as a storyline to introduce the brother of Ronnie and Roxy??

i dont have a problem with the character, but id say after she dumped her kids for 20years, whatever the reasons, they wouldnt want to know her after theyve got some answers and catching up!
she left ronnie up the duff but left pregnant and couldnt take her kids. horrible woman. she'll be a good character tho, i just hope they are not all best mates in 2months!

She better be, if she isn't it'd show how perfetic that actress who quit on the first day really is. Yes she's old, but it's not like it would have been a long stint.

Edit: she's in it Monda

According to Glynis Barber's official website she has filmed 9 episodes to be aired during January and is going back at the end of January to film a few more, so I guess to be aired in March/April.

Therefore it seems that she is not full-time at the moment.

I hope that they do bring her in full-time and I guess there's a possibility after Barbara leaves with her 3 children all living on the square.

When does Danny come into the show? Surely Glenda will be around for that.

Ah she's not sounding like a full-time character then? Such a shame, I really like her. Hopefully she'll become quite popular, Eastenders would reconsider then. Or at least make her a bit of a recurring character at least.

Well I'm glad she is coming back anyway. They should have on semi-reccuring basis now and have her full time when Barbara Windsor leaves.

They haven't even taken Archie and Sam's profile off the website!

I hope she does. Though I'm not liking the idea of another Mitchell - Danny.

I took to Glenda the first time she appeared on Easties. I hope she becomes permanent? I liked Debra Dean as well Whitney's Mum and I just wish she would come back as well permanently.
