Did I imagine it, or was Rosie wearing a red jacket in the hospital ward, then a black jacket at the coffee machine?

Sorry to hijack the thread but did anyone else find Dev and Sunnitas reaction to their sick child having a rash surely most people know the glass test is the first thing you do then if still unsure you go to A&E.

You dont wait around doing nothing until a doctor shows up.

I just found it odd that rather than call a dr straight away, she calls her estranged ex husband who she's barely seen in the past few years to ask him to come round to see what he thinks???

I'm not saying it's odd she contacted him, it's odd she contacted him before calling a doctor if she suspected meningitus. Anyway how many times in the last few years has she called him when they've been sick .... apparently never!

dev has only been concerned with his kids for like 3 weeks, but hey whats a few years?
its drummed into any parent to get a child checked out soon as possible, if she didnt suspect it fair enough, but she did suspect it!

Dev hasn't been estranged though. It was clear when Sunita was re-introduced that they'd always been in contact, and Dev had always seen his children.

As for the original question of whether there was a continuity error ... probably not.

Rosie is seen consistently wearing a red/orange cardigan type thing over a black top. Then, in the scene where Bill and Sophie arrive, she's wearing a black coat over the black top. The red/orange top can just about be seen in her bag.

If there had been a subsequent scene with Rosie in the red/orange top, I'd have said it was a continuity error. But there wasn't, and when she arrived home she was wearing the same black coat.

Was completely daft- if you suspect for one moment your child has meningitis you don't leave her on the couch for a few hours calling your ex husband and a GP- you go straight to A & E- who cares if it is an overreaction or not- consequences of delaying are too serious
