Hi,

A friend forwarded me the 6 free SIM offer, however it seems this time you have to be registered with O2 and then provide your registered email address.

My question is there anybody here who is registered with O2 and would kindly send their registered O2 email to jround@blueyonder.co.uk so I can get a few free sims as I am not registered with O" and their system is offline at the moment and I really do want some free SIMS as I missed out last time

Thanks for any help!

Sorry Johnr,
but acording to the website www.o2.co.uk/shop the online sims are no longer free, they are not even at the 99p offer price, they are now priced at £9.99.
It would appear you have missed the offer again

why would o2 (o2.co.uk) use a domain "o2promotion.com" ? seems a little strange.

oh well - i suppose i can ow sit back and wait for the junk mail to come flying in thick and fast as the "scammers" have now got my "good" email address.

I got my sims from e-bay, £5 each. I guess that is what people do with them when they can get lots for nothing or even for only 99p. I didn't mind paying £5 and now myself, hubby and son all have follow on numbers with the 300 free text each month. great.

hi me again....

firstly, the offer was open in early feb i believe, and i signed up using an email that wasnt registered with o2 (it took it anyway)

I then remembered by password for my acocunt, logged in, and put the same email address in. They came about 2 weeks later.

This time, it wouldnt accept my registered email, but has taken another email i used for an o2 account years and years ago (from genie times)

what am i gonna do with them? either sell them on ebay, or give a few to mates, and keep the rest in case i ever need them.

I already have 3 low-priced contract on a xdaII, SPVE200 and SPVE100. So i may keep three as backup for them.

I shall post here again when they are on the site, I've just got to get a few more in stock and arange a payment method.

Sounds good - when I want to pay £4.01 more, and buy them from a 3rd party instead of o2 themselves, I'll be straight there.
