And she hasn't got a fantastic body anyway! She's got a nice arse but she's flat chested.

Full marks for the attempts to hide the fact in the photographs though.

Don't worry Susan, I did ask Avolon to mention axe and I assume me in the same sentence! I never knew you cared Avolon, aww sweet!

Well at least I don't walk round in my underwear with pigtails on is all I can say! I may or may not be an oil painting, but I don't degrade myself by posing in soft porn photos. Kate needs to find some self respect.

i think whats being said her is that the way in which kate has posed in the picture is in this day and age bad taste and misjudgement bearing (cus pun) in mind that at one point britney spears and tatu were slated for their dress sense which can titilate a certain type of men who basically get off on looking at that type of image

personally i disagree with grown women posing in this attire as its degrading to women and what they think turns a real man on

dressing up to look like a little school girl really should'nt float grown mens boats

i actually thought the 1st pic was ok body wise but she should never have opted for pigtails and bubble gum

just more proof of kates yessssss personality

Excellent reply, Rachel. I've no objection at all to soft porn - takes all sorts - but attempting to look like a young schoolgirl is pandering to a much darker impulse in some men. It's not just degrading to women, it's threatening to real young schoolgirls who might be looked upon as sex objects. Not far fetched - just consider the news over the last year. Without mentioning any specifics, there have been a number of cases of underage girls being seduced by older men, or in a few sad cases, much worse. What also saddens me is the number of posters on this forum who appear to like that sort of thing!

This whole thread is evidence of people being wound up by a couple of tasteful pictures of a vey attractive girl. There's nothing wrong with flaunting it and Kates certainly got it. Ask people like Gail Porter, Zoe Ball, Sara Cox, Carol Smilie, Madonna, Britney, Kylie, Denise van Outen..... I could go on all day but I think you get the message.

This is going too far. Kate had her hair in pig tails - so now she's responsible for young girls being attacked by perverts. I suppose none of this happened before Kate Lawler appeared on a reality tv show and voted for Alex every week to be evicted which made her the devil incarnate and is now encouraging certain people to be turned on by school girls. Sounds ridiculous doesn't??!!

Poetic Justice, I was expecting this sort of reaction from someone. I don't think anyone is making any such intimation that Kate is responsible. Rather that there is a sub culture of people who get there kicks from looking at images of young girls and that by dressing in the provocative way that she did in those photo's panders more to those people than any others.

This of course has happened before and the point is does Kate have to follow the trend? No she doesn't. Why did she? Well I would suggest that she received either bad advice or she is jumping on a bandwaggon that she, in hindsight, may regret.

The only person sounding rediculous is you for this petulant outburst.

Attractive perhaps, but tasteful? Decidedly not. This was an error of judgment on Kate's part.

And what about when Alex dressed up as a school girl with his hair in pigtails and showing us his grubby union jack thong with his t*dger flayling around in a disturbing manner. Ohh I feel sick.

I understand your need to remind fm's to respect other fm's Beth, but why have you singled out Merlin on this thread by including his quote in your post ? when other posts are far worse, as the above post shows by one of the fm's calling another one a battleaxe and typing it in bold to stress their point and telling them to look in the mirror

Ok, so most of us slip and are guilty of unnessecary behaviour towards other fm's now and again and yes we do need to be reminded, most will apologise for their behaviour anyway, but picking out just one fm's post makes it look like favouritism, I hope it isn't !

Sorry if this post rattles you Beth, but just felt the need to point this out. Maybe it would have been better to have sent this by pm to you.

I have just noticed this post-it wasn' very well written-the Thread Title-I did not even notice it last night -still I guess you have noted the Sun bit-which I did not even know they had run and ignored the Loaded detail.I guess my other thread does that.
Kate threads are more easily spotted if they start with a "Kate.."I think.

By the way what was the other Underwear shoot you imply-did I miss one! -or are you alluding to BB3 when there wasn't much choice?

Perhaps you should have bought Loaded and checked your sources before commenting on them-I am sure a good potential reporter would have done that.

I beg your pardon. Comments like these are not really needed. Emzi does a first class job, thank you very much.

This Forum thrives on the efforts of its members to find, bring back & post news items. Without this, we are at a total loss, particular when Big Brother is off season.

In which case I think it is very mean spirited to attack those that are willing to make an effort. IMO this even applies to those few occasions when you might disagree with the poster's slant on a new thread because at least they have bothered to make an effort to share something with all of us here.

only trying to help Emzi find the right path in her career-I am sure Federico would want an honest reporter-applies to you of course as well-but you know that.

Vilt UK, I don't see what this has got to do with Mr Martone or myself or my career!

The "not sure" quote came directly from The Sun in the link I provided. I then cited the publication from which it came if you wished to buy it. It's called citing source. The reference to other strip off shots came from the last Loaded shot - remember? The one where her boobs were bound in black stuff and she shoved her fingers down her Daisy Dukes. That and the many, many other gusset/bikini/skimpy etc shots that seem to appear in the papers.

Trying to discredit my role as a DS:BB reporter has been tried in this forum by another very enthusiastic BB3 Kate fan RG so you're not the first to try that trick of trying to turn the DS staff against me because I have an opinion that differs from yours. I've never had a complaint about my DS reporting from readers or DS staff directly or passed onto me other than the occasional rant about my opinionated column.

I enjoy all the BB3 banter that still goes on and all BB contestants are in the stocks to us to throw proverbial tomatoes at whether you're a forum member or a DS columnist. But if you or RG have issues with me being a DS:BB reporter, please contact Beth Hart or Neil Wilkes instead of personally attacking me or my abilities or lack of them in the forums.

Thanks & regards, Emzi.

I was only trying to explain that your initial post should be more neutral-and clear so that it can be spotted and appreciated and enable people to add to it.
As I say I did not even notice it last night and started a thread on the Loaded article because I thought everyone was unaware of it.
C'est la Vie I suppose.

Where is RG -he seems to have been driven off-such is the way for Kate Lawler fans I suppose on this site.

I think you and a few others are just too rude about Kate -she has feelings too and is only trying to build a career in difficult circumstances.I do not see why you hate her so.What has she ever done to you?

Has Federico been in touch again I keep trying to prod him but he is a lazy so and so.

I would not say the year old Loaded shoot was underwear-more sports wear I would have said.and then some generalisation about bikinis and pants-I dunno.

First of all thank you to Samantha for her comments to Beth about my being singled out by Beth and accused of being disrespectful in this thread.

First of all if I have caused any offence then I apologise, however considering some comments in this and other threads between the Kate and Alex camps I do not believe my comment was disrespectful in any way. I was merely giving my opinion as others do in response to what was written by Poetic Justice.

The issue at hand was the way that Kate dressed in a photo shoot and in hindsight how sensible it was for her to dress in this way. The comments made by Dizzybonde were in my opinion (and that is what a forum is for to give opinions) correct (others may disagree and that is their right)and I quote:
Quote:
“ but attempting to look like a young schoolgirl is pandering to a much darker impulse in some men. It's not just degrading to women, it's threatening to real young schoolgirls who might be looked upon as sex objects. Not far fetched - just consider the news over the last year. Poetic Justice's reply was again in my opinion expressing her irritation at someone commenting about Kate although the issue at hand was covering a broader agenda than Kate's dress sense and was pointing out the possible or perhaps perceived dangers of images of that kind. I have highlighted the word irritation because the dictionary definition of Petulant is peevishly (irritable) impatient or irritable and in my opinion that is what was being expressed by one person about anothers honest opinion.

I would also like to point out that I am a moderator (and have been for a number of years) in another place on the internet where we have one rock solid rule that I and the other moderators enforce strictly and that is respect for all others regardless. To be accused of disrespect in this particular matter is to be blunt rather upsetting.
