Hi,

I'm having problems access Vodafone Live and other wap sites on my
Motorola v525. It just keeps saying Connecting... and doesn't do
anything.

I've not touched or mucked about with any settings, I'm just wondering
if anyone else is having any problems. I dont know when the problem
first started because i only use it every now and again, but i tryed
it 3 days ago and it didnt work and it still doesnt work now.

I live in the Manchester area, do you think it may be a problem with
that BT fire tunnel the other week... I know my ISP was down for 4
days and o2 and Virgin Mobile users in my area had very low signal and
most of the time none at all.

Nick, working for VF, I can confirm that there are no issues with the network for GPRS , particularly in Greater Manchester.

I would recommend powering off, remove sim and replace. Power back on. Try that, if that doesn't work, do a "manual roam" to another network, after this says "No Access" roam back onto Vodafone and this should cure it.

If you still cannot access VF Live or other GPRS services contact CS on 191 - free from your Vodafone who can check if there are any issues with your account.

It happens with my Sharp GX20 from time to time and one or both of the above should cure it.

Good Luck !

I have just tryed again and it works fine now, and i never had to mess with it... i wondered what the problem was.

Do you think it may of just been busy and overloaded whenever i tryed.

Anyway problem sorted.... thanks anyway for your advice, ill save it and try it in future problems.
