Diet Coke with Cherry
I like Cherry Coke, but owing to the sugary content of it I thought I'd have a go at it's diet version.
My god, that is the nastiest drink I've ever tasted. Does anyone actually like it? |

Does anyone actually like any diet drinks? They're all completely nasty.

I agree with you OP. Cherry coke is my favourite fizzy drink but as I am dieting I tried the diet version. It is awful and nothing like Cherry coke at all! So disappointing!!

I like it - we only drink diet coke etc in our house - both me and my wife dont like the bitter aftertaste that "normal" coke has.

It's worth avoiding purely for the aspartame.
I don't drink fizzy drinks, no health benefits whatsoever, full of sugar or sweeting crap, makes me feel bloated. All fizzy drinks are generally a nasty flavour as well, normally a syrup acidic taste. |

I love the stuff. When studying for my exams, I used to drink 2 litres a day. Luckily I've grown up and the 2 litre bottle now lasts me a week.

I hate most diet beverages, although some of the Zero brands are not too bad. I really miss Vanilla Coke though.

I don't like diet cherry coke either, it tastes like cough syrup to me.
Diet coke with vanilla was lovely though, shame they discontinued it. I make my own sometimes by mixing diet coke with diet cream soda, it almost tastes the same

I like it. I've only really drunk diet soft drinks for years. On the rare occasions that I do drink "normal" Coke or suchlike, it always tastes too sugary and syrupy. Quote:

No, i haven't. If you want to believe it's a hoax and continue consuming it, that's fine
It's about evidence not belief. There is no compelling evidence to support your stance.

It's also worth noting it has no health benefits, so really why would i put it into my body? |

There's alien abductee support groups also, if you choose to look. Again, there is no evidence to support these people's claims either.

I don't have occasion to ingest aspartame very often, I just dislike myths being thrown around as fact by people ignorant of actual scientific evidence. Anecdotal "evidence" is not enough.

I agree with the OP, I love Coke, Diet Coke and Cherry Coke but the diet version is HORRID. Even worse is Diet Dr Pepper, it doesnt taste right at all.
