We are currently looking at developing an application here at work that would require the user taking a number of images every day and sending them via MMS.

The user may well have a very limited knowledge of IT and current mobile technologies, so one of the primary requirements for a phone that's capable of taking and sending images via MMS, is ease of use.

I personally own an orange spv e200 and feel that a novice user may well run into problems using such a phone soley for the purpose of taking and sending images, plus it requires quite a few steps to complete the image taking and sending process.

I have also been testing a a motorola e606 on 3, and again dont feel this phone is particuarly well geared to performing this task with ease.

Can anyone provide their experience's with camera/mms enabled phones, and how easy it is to perform the picture taking/sending task.

Things like camera/message shortcuts on phone, number of steps required to complete picture taking/sending process etc would be very helpful.

TIA

Mark

Similar/same on Siemens SX1:
Press camera button on side to activate camera.
Press again to take pic.
left 'soft' key to get menu.
scroll to send, then across to "via MMS" (other options are via email, Bluetooth,IR)
MMS displayed - left 'soft' key to get menu.
scroll to "add recipient" to get to phone book.
select person/number.
left 'soft' key to get menu.
select send.

Should be same/similar on all Series 60 phones (6600,3650) though I don't think they have 'camera' button.

Nokia 7600. It's easy and has a camera button on the top of the phone.
Excellent picture quality and also allows you to capture video with sound and send that too.

Press photo button to start camera, point it at the subject, press the camera button again to take the picture, press send and enter the number. Simple...
