There is a tradition around our house that Sunday dinner is at lunchtime around 1-2pm, so this leaves us a bit peckish in the evening and typically we have a Sunday evening snack, Today is Dr Oetker baguettes.

Cheese on toast normally. But I eat that as a snack most evenings

Had a bit of free time on my hands this weekend and so had a go at this recipe for Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies on Sunday- http://www.eatthechef.com/recipe.aspx?id=93 They were, as the name suggests, delicious but seriously need to make sure they are only a Sunday 'snack' as they are wickedly indulgent!

I don't tend to have a big lunch on Sunday, more brunch followed by an evening meal at 7-8ish.

When I was growing up though, we would have a roast for lunch followed by a 'proper tea' - drop scones, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and cups of tea all of which my mum would make from scratch, god I miss it now, and her

My mum used to do that when my nan and grandad came over every other Sunday. I used to like that bit better than the roast.

Me too! Not a great fan of the roast dinner but love lots of little picky bits. I really must revive the tradition, I'll have to borrow some kids though lol!
