Domino's are rank.
Why does it have to be a chain? The best ones are the local independents (non-chains) Usually cheaper and nicer as they are owned locally (and often run by the owners too) so they want to encourage loyalty

Always used to be Domino's but recently I had a Papa John's and it was actually STUNNING - miles better than I remember them being before.

1. Pizza Hut for their cheese and garlic bread
2) Dominoes for their Pepperono Plus 3) Local Pizza place for their Meat Feast Simples! |

All the chains are grim. The local ones are much better.
Pizza hut and dominoes both taste plastic. |

Of the chains, Snappy are the best I've tried. |

Pizza Hut for me!
I don't find any of the local pizza places around me are anything special. They all seem to use cheap pre-made bases and bog-standard ingredients from the cash and carry. They're definitely alright for the money though, haven't ever paid more than a fiver for one! |

Dominos by a mile, I find Pizza Hut to be over greasy.
Some local pizza places are ok, but only 2 I know make their own dough, one of which used to make unbelievably amazing pizza's, the guy was italian and had owned the shop for decades but then he died and its his family that are using his recipe, it's still good but obviously they don't have the experience he did, even though they worked in the shop together and it's just not the same anymore. The rest of the places seem to all have pre-made bases which although they are fresh dough, I don't really know how fresh and there are a couple of shops I'm almost certain have the same pizza bases, obviously bought in from the same place. Domino's I've found to be consistently excellent. |

I love Pizza Hut but delivery wise Dominos wins my boyfriend has a flat in the centre of Glasgow and Pizza Hut don't deliver I find that a bit bizarre. Have to say though if I'm just getting pizza for me then the local indian takeaway wins their mushroom pizza is amazing

So long as they're cheap, I don't really mind, but it's scary to take a trip around Makro and realise how many of the unappetising ingredients on sale I've probably paid good money for!

Dominos by a mile. Mainly for their Double Decadence bases (where they have a layer of cheese and herb sauce within the base) - they're amazing.

Papa Johns for me as well but they need to expand and have more branches around the UK, I think once you have tried Papa's pizza you will never go back to Pizza Hut or Domino's...
Shame Pizza Express doesn't deliver |

Thanks. ![]() At the closest Dominos to me the pizzas are horrid but the starters are lush. I believe they are sent to them frozen then heated. The closest Pizza Hut is much better. |
