Danny and Frankie did really well last week, and I'm wondering if they're in with a chance, of going further at least.
They've pushed him quite a bit recently, Frankie got some good airtime on tonight's show and they were the featured clip at the end, which sometimes means they are on later in the running order too. Danny has also tweeted he enjoyed filming his VT this week, so they've done something for that.

Their routine is also featured on the ITVPlayer homepage.

I don't understand why he's not on the tour, but it's not over until it's over

I think there's still a fair chance he may end up on tour - there's still room for one or two more celebs, and given Daniella has apparently said she isn't doing it, he's the obvious remaining one to add.

I think Danny richly deserves his role as a real contender in this competition. He's really upped his game in the past couple of weeks to turn in a couple of great performances when it would have been easy for him to give up after all those weeks stuck on a plateau in the marks. Last week's leap of five points from the previous week's score was just great, has anyone else ever done that?

I am actually starting to like him, not because of the shirtless act, but because he has improved so vastly!

Dunno about score wise but I think that Donal has been the contestant that has improved most throughut the series.

Danny was a total beginner when he first started though, he improved fast between starting to learn and the first show, whereas Donal improved on the show, but even then he didn't get to the stage Danny is at now.

Having said that I believe part of the reason for the sudden increase was because he was previously undermarked.

The hat is not an easy prop (easy in the sense that it can be manipulated), never looks exciting. Skaters need to b e good to make the hat look sexy and exciting.

Matt Evers has been saying on twitter that Dannys routine was the hardest tonight.

It is, especially as he had no reason to say it. He also said Daniellas chair having wheels was a bit unfair and that Gary did well considering he had two props. But that Dannys routine was the most difficult... (didn't mention Hayley).

Danny didn't deserve to be in skate off tonight. Gary should have left tonight. Thought that he did the best ever hat routine in 5 series in his first performance.
