They have pro dancers + guest artistes on Strictly every week, and usually manage to show a fair balance.

I loved the last lift - Only one hand straight up lifting the girl in the middle and spinning.

Don't try that at home!

Anyway The Saturdays are shit imo. Poor man's Girls Aloud, but without any of the personality and catchy songs. I honestly dont know anyone who likes them or likes their songs.”

Please They urinate all over girls aloud in every department, they can sing live, they are not all skeletal and no minger.

You joined months ago and saved your first post to defend The Saturdays?!

I agree, they could have had the girls standing on the judges desk instead of in the middle of the rink then we would have been able to see all of them.

Like most people hated seeing so little of the skaters and toooo much in all departments of the Saturdays. Why those outfits for a family programme. OK fellas nice for you but my grandchildren I don't think so.

Im a fan of the saturdays, but I thought they were on screen too much last night. I found myself trying to watch the skaters in the background.

I agree Jenda - I'm watching this with my 8, 7 and 5 yr old boys. Not terribly appropriate imo.

I thought their outfits were terrible and very inappropriate for this show.

I would have liked to see more of the pro skaters.

I've nothing against the Saturdays; they're no worse (or better) than most of their type of girly groups. They are all good looking girls but in those hideous outfits they just made themselves look 'cheap'. My friend's 16 yr old daughter thought they looked hilarious!

I'd rather have had the camera on Fred's see-through shirt to be honest...

Absolutely!

I actually think The Saturdays are Ok too - just thought it was a shame that we didn't see more of the skating.

best first post!

Not being funny but you are all saying owww it's a family show how dare they come out dressed like this etc, can we just remind everyone it was about 9.40pm at night after 9pm watershed.

Not that it was anything over the top, seen Girls Aloud wearing worse on tv and what about Candy Rain?

I have seen the professional skaters wear less, but people seem to gloss over that.

I personally think that's totally different - it's a completely different look, for a different reason, with a different message.

I'm a huge Saturdays fan (even been to their live show in London hast June) and I think their songs are great. They are not a poor mans Girls Aloud, they are a totally different group and their songs are catchier and fresher than GA's (particularly Up - I have it on as I type). I've seen some of their flip vids on Youtube and they're quite down to earth and normal. Although I didn't like this performance because of the way they were dressed. I loved the song though and I bought the CD single two weeks ago.

Don't see many of the skaters in outfits too small or pushing their boobs up unnaturally or creating the sexual picture this tried to imo. I don't care that it was 2140 my grandchildren watched this on catch up.

Exactly, it's clearly a family show and most people watch it with their kids, either at the time or they record it.

lol was going to say that, half of the people moaning seem to be the ladys.

Not being funny but Mylie Cyrus looked worse the other week at like 7.30pm on ITV1!

I really hope these complainers don't let their children watch music video channels unattended.

I don't think it was the 'size' of the outfits that was so dreadful, just the style - if you can call it that! They were horrendous.

It is the constant moving of the goalposts that makes the argument look silly. OK for some but not for others. OK to be naked, but not a bad style or image of clothes. This is ok, that isn't ok, this is ok, that isn't ok.

I see 'worse' images and provocation on billboards every day!

Really, people should just get on with their lives.

Do know what bothered me about it wasn't what they were wearing, it was the fact I wanted to see the skating.

That said I really liked that song and have D/l it so I guess that was their aim.

Only if you paid for it
