Here's Kieron at Belfast Pride a couple of years back:

Not that it necessarily means anything, but, y'now...

(He's not the drag queen, before anyone makes that mistake )

Just exactly what it says - gay, and open about the fact that they are gay.

What I meant is that the show itself can be quite camp, and this in turn leads to an element of camp attaching to the male skaters (both celebrity and professional). In this regard, at times they appear quite camp, although some more so than others.

Andrei and Pavel, for example, come across as less camp than Fred; who is less camp than Matt; who is less camp than Daniel. Stuart and Matthew I don't know where I'd place them; Christopher Dean is probably somewhere in the middle as well.

On the celebrity side of things, Kieron was definitely by far the most camp on Sunday (although he was wearing broght pink, which may have influences things!). Danny and Gary were also more camp than Bobby, Dr Hilary, Jeremy and Mikey.

I'm not saying camp is an insult or a marker of homosexualiy; quite the opposite in fact! Just because someone seems camp doesn't mean they are gay. What I was trying to point out is that being camp is different to being gay.

I honestly don't see why it does matter? If it affected his ice dance performance or whatever then yes, there might be a point, but i dont see that it does. I understand as another poster said, that people will be curious, but i dont think his/her sexuality should be an issue.

Nobody is suggesting it's an issue, though.

They're just interested. In the same way that they might be interested that Heather is missing a leg, or that Fred and Melanie are married, or that Danny used to be in Corrie. It's all ancillary stuff, but there's nothing wrong with that.
