Is it possible to restrict viewing of 'G' channels or adult channels for that matter? - a quick test allowed me to restrict viewing of recorded 'G' channels - but I could still look at e.g "Babestation" live.

The manual implied that this was only possible in non freesat mode.

Provided you have the laster software (1.00.12) you can hide Adult channels from the channel list.

To hide Adult Genre channels Menu > Settings > Parental Control

Hope this helps.

Dan.

You can also delete the channels permanently from the channel list.

[edit] (Oh, sorry, I see you want to keep them for yourself!)

thanks.

For some reason or other the adult option was greyed out when I looked last night as was the satellite icon.

They are both there this morning.

You were probably recording at the time you tried.

En passant..
I noticed when testing 'Gavin and Stacey' on the iPlayer that
Warning that it was ADULT
and then said they had ways of contacting the Parental controls of the HUMAX..
may have just been a Frightener..
as one had to AGREE Over 16..
which serves what purpose if the Controls will not allow anyway??

Anyhow at Xmas Janet got an ADULT 'Loose Women' gift..
which she passed to our 15 year old grand-daughter..
BECAUSE it was labelled 15..
What non-sensical incongruity..

Stan

Correct - I worked out that I was either playing a recording or recording.... It would probably be better if it said this or just restricted menu access altogether.

I'm just new to Freesat + and I noticed some so called adult content, but it made me laugh...you could see more on an ordinary beach ! Can't quite see why it's called adult
