Toshiba Regza 32"

We have had this tv for just over a year and it has been fine, but for the last few weeks, each day when it switched on the first time, it has a notice "8 programmes found" - they are same 8 programmes every time. I've tried doing an automatic scan for programmes but this doesn't seem to solve the problem. It used to update regularly when it was switched off - I would notice the green light on as well as the red - but this doesn't seem to happen now. Any ideas to cure this niggling situation?

Have a look within the menu and see if there is an option to turn off "New DVB Notification" or similar...alternatively report back with the Tv model no.
