If I am halfway through a program, and wish I had recorded it, I rewind to the beginning and press record - it jumps back to live and records from there. All previous humax pvrs have managed to record from the beginning.”

There is no buffer record capability on a Foxsat-hdr. One was expected in V1.00.15 but never arrived, perhaps for DRM rights reasons. The time shift buffer file 0.TS is not encrypted for content required to be.

All previous Humax pvrs were SD only and not required to encrypt any content.

Using Raydons firmware mod it's possible to ftp the 0.TS file to a PC. This contains the content of the buffer since the last channel change.

Thanks for that - it's caught me out a couple of times through habit. Any chance of a link to that firmware and/or idiots guide to using it please?

I used to mess about with a 9200, saving files to computer but not so bothered about that now I must admit. Now anything I want to keep goes to a bluray/DVD recorder. I'd just like the red button stuff to work for now!
