Looking at the 37" LCD TV's in the 6 series there are three options
LE37B650 - sold by many suppliers
LE37B651 - sold by Currys
LE37B652 - sold be Comet
For reasons best known to Samsung the B650 and B651 have 100Hz motion plus but the B652 has 100Hz (no motion plus)
I have three questions
Is there any advantage of 100Hz motion plus over vanilla 100Hz
If motion plus is turned off do you still have 100Hz refresh
How does motion plus work differently to straight 100Hz

So does 100Hz - I would suggest all three sets are identical (apart from possible minor cosmetics), the second two been given a slightly different model number so you can't compare prices.

The problem I have is that according to the manual Motion Plus can be tweaked. Does this also apply to vanilla 100Hz
100Hz Motion Plus → Off / Clear / Standard / Smooth / Custom / Demo
Removes drag from fast scenes with a lot of movement to provide a clearer picture.
If you enable 100 Hz Motion Plus, noise may appear on the screen. If this occurs, set 100Hz Motion Plus to Off.
Off: Switches 100Hz Motion Plus off.
Clear: Sets 100Hz Motion Plus to minimum.
Standard: Sets 100Hz Motion Plus to medium.
Smooth: Sets 100Hz Motion Plus to maximum.
Custom: Adjusts the blur and judder reduction level to suit your preference.
Blur Reduction: Adjusts the blur reduction level from video sources.
Judder Reduction: Adjusts the judder reduction level from video sources when playing films.
Reset: Reset the custom settings.
Demo: Displays the difference between 100Hz Motion Plus on and off modes.

Question is now moot - I found an LE37B650 in Argos for £120 less than either Comet or Currys
