Get yourself a new ruler
Seriously, you can't find a Denon, Sony, Kenwood, Onkyo with a width smaller than 17"?

It's gutting as the hole I have is 10mm to small, I've found plenty on home surround systems that fit but I need one that has optical in for my sky box and ps3

I bought an optical splitter this week, but the warning was that you need to make sure the source you are NOT listening to isn't switched on. It also suggested that some sky+ boxes output optical even when on standby, in which case you need one with a manual switch.
