Hi all,

My mum finally purchased a lovely new 32" tele about 3 weeks ago to replace the ever so ancient 20" square box sitting in the cupboard.

All well and nice i think, but about 10 minutes ago, was watching itv2 on freeview and all of a sudden the sound went off and all i could then hear was the most ear pearcing beep coming from the speakers on every channel, even did it on the av channels. So i put the tele into standy and still did it after turning it back on.

So then i unplugged it at the mains and it was then fine, but now i have a lovely orange led lit up next to the green one on the tv's surround....and it stays lit permanently....

I tried looking on the toshiba site for some support and googled it, but no avail as the model number isnt listed, believe me i have spelt it right and it definately isnt there, for some reason richer sounds was selling them, but only the 40" version exists.

Any ideas before i go telling her its broken and might need to go back to the shop ???

Just did a rescan of the dtv channels and the orange light has now gone...seems odd that it would beep like that though....

anyway, i think its alright now...nevermind...can close this.
