I missed a couple of the performances on Sunday night, but the sight of Jeremy in his pants has made me glad I caught up!

I thought Donal was going to be a tough act to follow. But Jeremy has filled the void left by the Irish hunk very nicely indeed

More please

Yep I think he made up for the fact he couldn't skate that well by showing off his buff body (I reckon that's what kept him in)

I was a fan before, and I'm still a fan - I'd have voted for him anyway!

Besides, he can clearly move, he's just got to stop panicking about the skating part. I'll give him a few more weeks to improve before I harden my heart and stop voting

Now I see you're smitten!

I thought, strange, there were so many man-flesh and earlier in the week you were saying none compares with Donal!

Yes, I'm hoping his skating eventually proves to be as attractive as he is. That's what made Donal doubly appealing

Don't think for a second it's going to take the heat off you mister

(I'll try and behave, promise!)

bobby Davro said 'he should have taken his clothes off' and maybe he would have got the votes and gone through...

maybe not

Never heard of Jeremy before DOI. Feel he did himself no favours by saying about his ballet training as it automatically made people (some people anyway) expect more from him; he had a few nice arm shapings, but other than that, he was my choice - with Davros guy - for bottom 2. Sorry - no offence to his fans!

Why Sid you DOI tart.

Mmmm, I love Jeremy Sheffield! I do agree with kaycee that he didn't help himself mentioning the ballet training, as it will raise the expectations and many people I expect will think he has an unfair advantage (although I believe Chris Fountain also had experience with ice-hockey? So maybe not). But then, I think if he hadn't mentioned it, he'd get complaints that he was trying to hide it.

I do love him though, have done since he was in Holby City when I was about 13! He used to wear a really nice blue hoodie (they all do on Holby!) and I loved it so much I bought a blue Nike hoodie which looked similar. It's called my Alex Adams hoodie.

His dancing training will help him with balance and shaping (and presentation...) but you all heard Chris Dean say on the VT that Jeremy had everything he needed to do well - apart from the skating skills!

Bonnie in series 1 was the same - she looked gorgeous while doing her lifts and being carried and assisted round the ice by Matt - and like Bambi when required to let go of him and actually skate by herself. She is a brilliant skater now because she kept up her skating after the show ended - but at the time she was deservedly beaten by better SKATERS.

The enforced time off from training for recovery from the hamstring injury wont have helped Jeremy either - I hope he does manage to recover as I'd love to see some John Curry-esque performances from him....

What have I done?!

Now bear in mind that I still have some hope for this Jeremy guy. He's ballet trained and you can tell his lines were naturally pleasing to look at when he tried to skate, even when done so tentatively.

He might just be the journey-man you are looking for! The Donal MkII. Already, like Donal (if I recalled correctly), he's shown in the physio-room with nothing on but a pair of undies. Next thing, he'll be doing the props week carrying a broom too!

I don't see how Jeremy could have avoided mentioning his ballet years, since its public knowledge and pretty well-known. There would have been a massive fuss if he hadn't - here especially. And the evidence so far (things may just possibly change), is that extremely advanced dance training and experience, in and of itself, doesn't go far if you can't skate. At least for male contestants.

I found that video clip of Jeremy in his underpants sat next to that male doctor a total joke. I mean - i have never stripped down for my knee to be examined.......it was cringy.....Jeremy has also gone more camper.......I used to feel that he came over as being staight but there is no mistake anymore......too camp :/

It wasn't his knee though was it, it was his groin. Admittedly he didn't have to take his top off but certainly needed to take his trousers off.

Didn't it happen to Donal last year? And that was just to see his supposed bruises on his thighs/bum. His shirt was off too as far as I can remember. No one called him camp then!

That's because Donal isn't camp at all, whereas Jeremy, being gay, has every right to be camp if he wants to.

He is lovely. I would never have thought he was gay.

Sid, us girls on the carpet will gladly take full credit for pointing you in the direction of Mr Sheffield. Wafts all round please.

I always liked Jeremy in Holby - in fact, I think my the end of my viewing of said programme occurred at around the same time as his departure. Purely coincidental, you understand.

If he can work hard and catch up on his skating skills we will hopefully see something good from him.

And if not, another gratuitous shot of him in his skimpies will suffice.

I'm as shallow as you, Sidders!

Yes, yes, I'm coming to wave my wand in your direction Saz

I didn't realise he was gay

What a shame. That does put me off a little. I was hoping rather hoping he'd be married with kids - just how I like 'em

I get that when watching that Wii advert - have you SEEN that guy? I've had to resort to keeping a fire extinguisher on the wall next to my sofa for every time it comes on.

As far as DOI goes, I'll take Chris Dean
