No PS1 anniversary bonuses for Europe?

What a surprise.
Well it was the US anniversary only last week - the EU date is (I think) towards the end of this month........

UK launch date was 29th of September 1995 if my memory serves me correctly.

Here's hoping some of you take advantage of the Monkey Island bundle! It's an utter brilliant game series that never seems to sell on the PS3, come on guys, LucasArts wants a reason to develop these games on the PS3, they even made the PS3 version of Monkey Island 2 better than the 360 version, so buy it and enjoy the damn things!

I strongly recommend you play those wonderful Monkey Island special editions. The price is great on that PS3 bundle.

Or if you prefer you can get them on PC, iPhone, and probably electric toaster

I would avoid the iPhone versions if I'm honest, of course the PC versions are the best so if you can, buy them on that, but for the PS3, this bundle is an amazing price, considering I thought Monkey Island 2 alone was worth more money when it was released!

Yes. 12 Trophies each. One Gold, bunch of Silvers and Bronze's. So if you're into Trophy boosting, I guess these along with Tales of Monkey Island and Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse would be right up your alley as these are a couple of easy 100%'s.

post not showing. But yeah, they have Trophy Support, but the games are worth it alone, especially the second game.

I see the US store has started getting some Japanese PS1 imports. Be cool if they launch something similar for the EU. I wouldn't mind trying some quirky classics!!

Anyone know if and when Resident Evil 1, 2 or 3 will be coming to the UK PSN store? I heard they are available in the US store...

Is the free RDR DLC pack going to return? It appear on the store a couple of weeks ago and was then quickly pulled because of "technical issues" but I have heard nothing about it since

Took the plunge & bought Sonic Adventure & downloading the Castlevania demo too. They're both just over 1550mb. It's mad to think how big games are these days when a demo is the same size or bigger than an old game!

Yup! Thankfully I picked up a Dreamcast and 10 games for £12.99 (inc del and which included Sonic) off eBay not so long ago, so have a look on eBay first and you can get a real Dreamcast and games for a little more!

Crazy Taxi should be next up as that's been testing on PartnerNet for some time (360 version).

I heard it should have been out by now, but was delayed because of obtaining the licence for the music tracks.

I've been playing through Sonic Adventure & it all comes flooding back to me like the mini games like the ciao racing, sonic pinball in the casino etc

It's got trophy support too.

Only thing that's annoying is that it's not widescreen & the camera can be frustrating.

The graphics still hold up well a decade on too
