I downloaded the timed demo from the US store earlier to see if the kids would like it. they loved it, so have just bought it.

Bloomin heck, it even has trophies and plays music from the XMB (Custom soundtracks)

Though one of them is....

Ludicrous Speed Complete the game in campaign mode in 60 minutes or less without leaving the action. (1 or 2 players)

I'm tempted, but it's gonna be like other PSN games I've bought...Flower, Geon, Bowling...fun for half hour, then never gets played!

well, you know nowadays lots of these game come by the bucket load, so you can only play them once anyway!!

With the exception of Flower, maybe you should download GOOD games from the PSN instead?

yeah I do agree with you. Play hardly any of my PSN games and its one more for the collection. Kids have probably already had their 79p worth from it mind you and I havent had a go yet. I dont think they were able to find anyone online on it though.

rumours are we are getting Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2 demos on the Dec 21st update.
That would be pretty sweet. I am really interested in ME2, having heard great things from xbox owning friends, but I really want to try it before buying.

Sony sent me a code for this last week. Now wondering if that was a demo or time limited thing or whether they did actually give me something for nothing ????

Sony are obviously aiming at either

A) Impulse buys regardless of price

B) Kids with accounts or people who are unaware of outside pricing

C) More money than sense

Plus it's great marketing for them when they can claim to cut the price of PS3 games by 40% every week on PSN by just reducing everything from the inflated price to a still inflated price!

Poor update, although will check out the free Prince Of Persia dynamic theme.

It is a great theme. One of my favourites so far. I had to go to the theme section to find it
