Considering it's free, what's the MAG DLC like?

To be honest (and its probably wrong) but I dont mind 20p for an avatar, yeah free would be good and I also dont buy content for HOME, etc. BUT << and this is a big BUT. What I hate about the avatars is that they are only useable on the account you download them on. I mean I can download a 14.99 game like Wipeout or Warhawk and play it over all my accounts BUT I cant share my 20p LBP sackboy avatar with my sons account.....the person who would most want it.

My sons account is limited with parental controls so he cant use the store and why should I have to top up with a fiver on his account for this 1 off 20p purchase ?

If they wont allow sharing of it then they should at least allow us to buy them off your main account but specify what sub account you want to use them on.

My little rant over....just this particular PSN issue really bugs me.

I guess if I really liked an Avatar and I have a spare 20p on my account I would maybe buy one but I still think it's a con...

One way round your issue is to wait till you wanna buy something over a fiver from the store and then get it on your sons account rather than yours, getting the 20p avatar first evidently. I agree that not being able to share it is crazy.

4 mins too slow, Hotbird.
lol, I think your post was an invisible post when I made my posting as I wouldn't normally double post the information. Its a shame I cannot edit the content out of my post but its too late now.

yeah thought about that Gormond but I never download anything off his account, even demos. I just like everything under my account and history. Ok, technically, this is me being a bit silly. I might consider that sometime though.

The annoying thing is I am waiting on a £20 PSN card coming and to think I cant offload 20p of that <sigh>

Would be nice if in future games there was some bonus content or unlockables of free avatars for that game.

Yeah considering Final Fantasy can give you themes as you unlock trophies it would certainly be possible to do the same with Avatars.

On a side note it would be good if getting Platinum gave you money off DLC for that particular game, It wouldn't be terribly hard to implement and would reward die hard fans of the said game.

They'll be saving the good content for the "firstplay" subscription thing thats coming.

Maybe just not many demos available just now. Are there any biggies this week on Live anyone know ??

I've a feeling they were actually pre-order bonus maps from searching around. I think it was from Gamestop in US and Game here in UK.

Maybe they were timed exclusive and now they are selling them to us all. Someone here must have them surely from a pre-order ??

possibly from a collectors edition of the game also.

I'd heard that about ff. Do they just appear in your themes list?

You get a choice in game if you want to install it or not but yeah they just appear under themes after that.

I think so, but don't show up on Euro PS3s with a US account until late Thursday / early Friday.

That's what I thought too, but late on this Thurs night / Fri morning (25th/26th March), new content appeared on the US store which has 3/24/10 on it.

I noticed the same thing a couple of weeks ago too. Maybe they can hide it's immediate arrival, in the same way that we can't see their Video Store content?

Unless, of course, I've gone mad.

Yes, but only by clicking on one of the ad banners (which are only there for a couple of seconds at a time). What I meant was that the actual menus aren't visable to us with PAL/Euro PS3s from the US store home screen.

Been looking forward to that Heavy Rain dlc, so will be getting that.

Also tempted by the warhawk dynamic theme. Don't usually go for those - but I do love warhawk
