Does anyone know when I player will be availibe on Goodmans HDR?

Have emailed Goodmans a few time but no response.

Would a new firmware be required?

If it works like the Humax, then the Goodman's might need a software update but I am not sure.
Also did you receive my PM to you about the Goodmans' box?

All sets and boxes will need updates, unless they have already had them like the Humax. I wouldn't expect Goodmans and others to do this until after the service is launched - easier to stick with one manufacturer for beta testing) and Humax are the main 'real' manufacturer).

Nigel I should expect it to now slowly be made available to other manufacturers especially now that Sony TV's look as if they have been updated.

I wasn't aware they had?, but if so it looks like others should be following, and the BBC must be happy with how the testing is going so far.
