So how will Gail react to Jason's advances?
Is that all we're going to hear of it, or are we in for a week of pious retribution against Eileen & her low-life sons? I must admit that, as unlikely as it might seem, she did seem to be coming on to Jason a bit, half exposing her shrivelled boobies with that silk gown and all
Quite funny, really

I don't think Jason's a low-life. He's fairly harmless really, just does something stupid every chance he gets. He hasn't pissed off as many people as Todd has either.

Re. low-life: I was merely predicting the sort of language Gail is bound to use next week when relating the episode to Eileen, Sarah, et al.

Ok, fair enough. no doubt Gail will over-react to the best of her ability. Maybe even use it as an excuse to guilt her kids for abandoning her and leaving her at the mercy of cheeky builders..

If anyone looks like an under-developed child in my opinion it's Todd. He's got rosy cheeks and has a little boy haircut. I prefer Jason by far, he's way buffer.

I would have thought that some kind of relationship would have started up between her and Jason...lol
Mind you, I do hate those storylines, makes me turn off, especially that one between Danny and the woman (who's name I've forgot), that right put me off Emmerdale for a few days!

Lol.. And better still, to make it even more unbelievable Jason's dad Tony arrives back on the scene and a gripping love triangle forms as father and son lock horns over Gail Platt. Why not?

OMG! Todd's character is certianly not a low-life character. Its the fact that he has such a caring attitude and big heart that he's gotten into the mess. I think Corrie's worked hard to portray Todd as just someone who is confused, and if he could help it, he wouldn't hurt anyone. I guess I can see things from his perspective though....although, I would finish with my GF before playing about, no matter how confused

When Gail said that she was old enough to be his mother, Jason should have said"You never had a problem with Martin"

Quite funny, really ![]() Quite a common thing, women doing that and later on changing their minds! Their actions can get people into a lot of trouble, but the man is never seen as the victim! When women are at fault, no action is ever taken against them even if they admit it. Coronation Street are doing some great storylines. Geoff. |

Lol. I think Gail's comments were made just to show us how Jason got it wrong. They were never intended, well in my opinion anyway, to make us actually believe that Gail was chatting him up. She was speaking to him like she does every day of the week to Nick. It's a doting mother thing she going on, I seriously doubt she's a young-man eater at this stage. Besides if it were any other character apart from Jason fixing the radiator while Gail stood by in her dressing gown then as there would have been no undertone of Jason's ahem.. work for Mrs. Fanshaw then a lot less notice would have been taken by viewers of what Gail was saying because nobody would expect the scene to take that kind of a twist.

Gail has always been a bit of a slapper, and is seldom seen to be going without a good portion for very long. If Corrie specialise in anything, its in elevating thick gormless, chinless trolls to the heights of a sex symbol and local siren. Gail and Deirdre are the two main offenders here. Eugh!
Mutton and lamb also spring to mind. Aah say Mutton and lamb Ashleeeeey! Rudi
