We all know of plenty people and a handful of animals who have had their own storylines. What about objects? Whats your favourite object from a soap?

Pauline's doorstop - stopped Pauline's door and was used to hit Den with. Its got away with murder

In Neighbours a few years ago they had a chunk of Ayre's rock which Lucy brought back to Ramsay Street and it made its way round quite a few houses and parks bringing bad luck to whoever crossed its path!

Derek Wilton's gnomes featured strongly in a storyline.

In fact, one of them now runs the Kabin!

Anyone remember Stan & Hilda Ogdens flying ducks or their "murial" (wall mural) in Coronation Street.

Oh, that was hilarious! Norris had kidnapped them out of jealousy, wasn't it?!

I remember Reg Holdworth's hairpiece in Corrie from around that time as well.

In EE, the deeds to the Vic seem to make their way round the square a lot

There's quite a few in EE. Usually used to expose some huge secret. The DVD at Christmas 2007. Both Ronnie and Danielle's lockets have had more screen time than Mickey Miller on his whole stint on the show. Ronnie's champagne glass played an integral part. Ben's christmas crackers. Archie's mother's ring seems to be all the talk these days. The tape that exposed Sharongate seemed to go around the houses before Grant Mitchell finally heard it.

Janine's cat in Eastenders that had all the money stashed inside it, its kind of scary looking though

I thought it was funny how when she went back to Pats she had it strapped to her suitcase.
