Making Tuna Pasta Bake - Can you put in fridge?
As the title says, i am planning on making a Tuna Pasta Bake with this recipe
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9649/tuna-pasta-bake Is it ok if after i make it i can put the dish into the fridge and re-heat a day later or what not ? (The reason why i want to do this is i live on my own so i would not be able to eat a full past bake for dinner.) If so how do i re-heat it and for how long? Do i use the microwave or the oven again? |

It's fine to re-heat up to a couple of days later as long as it's covered and kept in the fridge.
You can re-heat in the micro or in the oven. If using the oven I would do it for 15-20 min at 180c. How ever you re-heat it it must be piping hot throughout. |

That's pretty much exactly the recipe I use for my tuna pasta bake, and there's always plenty for a few days. I keep it in the fridge and then reheat individual portions - in the oven at home, as it's nicer, or in the microwave if I take it into work for lunch. In either case, it takes longer than you might think to reheat as it's quite solid. Say 20 mins at gas 5 or 4 mins at full in an 800 degree micro.
I love this stuff and may have to make some tonight now. |
