Hi does anyone think that the price of an ipod nano 5th generation will come down in price to closer to £100?

Thanks in advance

erm,yes, probably, eventually.

What sort of question is that?

All tech will come down in price eventually!

Just get a phone that plays MP3 and reduce the devices you carry around!!

Is a price reduction likely to happen within the next month or two?

Nope. Towards September, may be, because that's when new iPods get released.

Unless you really want the radio and the rubbish camera you should look at the previous gen one which is virtually identical. You can get them in the apple refurbish store for £100 or less.

Yea I have seen them refurb ones. I was very tempted to get one however I like the idea of having radio on my ipod. But will probably end up being one of those things that seems a great idea but I will never actually use it. lol.

Also I think the price for the refrub ones aren't really that competitive.

Amazon have the 5th gen in various colours at £99.95 now I didn't fancy the camera so bought a 4th gen silver model for £80 delivered off ebay(not a refurb, brand new and sealed). Another reason I opted for fourth gen is the shiny ones in the shop appeared to get dirty easily with fingerprints and with a matt finish it's less of a problem.

I would say check fleabay and other sites like coolgirl did, I'm sure you'll get what you're looking for at the price you're willing to pay. My g/f has one and the radio isn't that good which maybe down to our location? Good Luck!
