Who will stay too long, and who will leave to early ?

I predict -

Stay too long - Emily & Fred

Leave too early - Gary & Maria

Its difficult to say after 1 show - I think One of the good men is bound to fall out early.

Hilary must've come quite high in the public vote, so could be a shoe in to stay for quite a bit.

It will be interesting to see who has improved on Sunday

I agree with both of those. I don't think Gary is really going to connect.

I reckon Dr Hilary and Alexandra will probably stay too long too, thanks to the 'HRT' vote.

what is the HRT Vote

I believe the 'HRT vote' refers to voting done by women of a certain age who have begun hormone replacement therapy - basically the slightly aging housewives' vote.

I think Dr Hilary's going to be staying in there over a couple of more promising individuals - one of whom, I am sadly fairly sure, will be Jeremy. Keep that man in!

It was Jason who came up with this phrase for Hilary's voters.

Based on last week it looks like Hilary will be staying for a while longer, with Gary leaving before he should.

However, if Gary does come out of his shell, I feel a journey (sorry!!) coming on. I also think Keiron might go earlier than heshould too.

Daniella will go before her time I think.

Who says the HRT vote won't fancy Jeremy - he is better looking and part of the attraction is he is unattainable.

I'm not convinced that Gary will go early or that the audience will fail to connect with him. The first week is a bit too early to read a lot into the viewers' vote. They all need a bit more time to develop their skating and to show more of their personality.

As for Heather, I think people will admire her determination (I do), but I think she needs to be a lot lower key if she is to keep the audience onside.

Leave too early - Gary Lucy and maybes Jeremy

Stay too long - the gurner from Emmerdale - Daniel always gets the Emmerdale girls and they always stay too long - remember how wooden Emily Symonds was (on par with Colleen Nolan) and sure she stayed till the semis.

Also Heather as she keeps on bleating about charidee.

Yep, Heather might have had a good chance of doing well in this if she'd only learned to keep her gob shut ocassionally...

I think whether he improves or not Jeremy will be in for a few weeks but he's so hot I don't care!

Sharron Davies will be there too long. Actually Sharron and Heather are already there too long.

Could see Hayley or Gary leaving early

As a person I really liked Emily. At least she didn't hold out the begging bowl for votes.

Sure she stayed in at the expense of better performers, but to compare her to the grating, infuriating and irritating Colleen Nolan could be defined as blasphemy.

I think it's vey unfair to lump Emily & Coleen in the same boat. I think Emily had the makings of a good skater but when she first tried to skate on her own she fell over & then seemed to lose all confidence. She did last longer than she should have on merit but no way was she as bad as Coleen.

Emily seemed lovely & I can understand why people voted for her (alyjough I didn't as I was supporting Kyran & Mel that series). However, I will never understand the appeal of Coleen, she never seemed to try & openly admitted to not enjoying the skating. I guess the people that voted for her are the same idiots who voted Losse Women to win the NTA.

Colleen was too unbearable for words and her constant "its not just about being the best it's about trying your best" constant moan last year drove me nuts. Yes luv, you're not the only one trying your best, everyone is trying their best, and their best is about 100 times better than yours but your shameful begging for votes every day on Loose harpies is keeping a lump of lead in the contest against far better skaters.

Emily was growing in confidence until she fell and still managed to put in a couple of decent routines. I loved her and Dan's routine to 'Almaz'.

Sinitta left too early this year - Emily and Tana have stayed too long.

Not so sure about Emily. She possibly should have left in the first week (although I think Tana was just as bad) but she is showing a modicum of potential now. Tana should go soon but Hilary has definitely outstayed his ability now.

Well I may have a teeny bit of the same reasoning for defending Emily (although it's not her I want to see more of...)

That said, I do think she's improved from her first week - not that she was starting from much.

I know what you mean about Emily, but she just irritates the hell out of me
