Eastenders 2004 v 2010
Does anyone feel that Eastenders has improved significantly since 2004 when the shows viewing figures were at their lowest and fans were bemoaning the repetitive use of gangster storylines?
I feel watching it last night, that the show has a strong cast and that going forward if Bryan Kirkwood carries on the good work Diederick Santer has done, Eastenders can go on from strength to strength. |

Yep. EastEnders is a fantastic show and IMO is the best soap in my eyes.

Well obviously if the viewing figures were at their lowest and fans were moaning about it, then of course it has improved

What storylines took place in 2004, I can't even remember that far back.

, then there was the tedious Sharon/Dennis/Zoe and Alfie/Kat/Andy love triangles, the Ferreiras' neverending kidney saga  and loads more tripe. It was horrendous ![]() Thankfully a distsant memory now though!
