Vegetables Samosas
Im going to make these tonight, my last attempt I used filo pastry and oven baked them, this time I would like to use the deep frying method. Does anybody know if I can use filo for this or another type of pastry that is better suited. I am planning on buying pre made pastry as havent got the time to make my own.
I did see that you could use empanada, gyoza, dumpling or egg roll skins/wrappers but I doubt Tesco will sell those. |

I'm not sure about which pastry but Tesco does sell gyoza and spring roll pastry in the frozen world foods section! I always think I should buy them but get too scared to make my own

A woman on the Hairy Bikers new programme used tortilla wraps which they said were delicious. I am dubious, though. She deep-fried them.

Says wheat flour on the ones I just had. Maybe the Tortilla wrap mentioned above might work, grab some old el paso and have at them.

If it's a big Tesco you should be able to get actual samosa skins in the frozen section.

Thanks for the advice guys, I went to my big Tesco superstore but unfortunately they did not have a frozen world food section. I used filo pastry instead and they turned out tasty.
