You're asking for trouble with that request.

They won't all be pleasant suggestions.

People on here have a warped sense of humour.

Very nice idea, by the way.

Do you think she'd like it? How old is she? Those songs are a bit dated - I'm 38 and I'd squirm a bit at those, they're a bit cheesy, but that's just my taste - which you are free to laugh at.

I do really like the Style Councils "you're the best thing" though - which I'm sure some of you would find equally cheesy!

X “When Our Love Passed Out on the Couch”

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts “I Hate Myself for Loving You”

And one serious offering I always liked

Have a listen to Could Not Ask For More by Edwin McCain - most romantic song I know of.

I also love Breathe by Faith Hill.

Surely the idea is to pick songs that SHE likes or that mean something to the two of you, rather than to a load of random strangers. Or would you like us to come and cook the dinner for you too ?

Wow ! - I wonder if anybody ever wrote a love song about that - although I doubt it would go down well with the gf on a 1st anniversary
