Looks like my 10 year old cat has got arthritis in it's hip does anyone know what I can give him

Not sure why you have started 2 threads for the same thing?
You have obviously taken your cat to the vet to establish that it is arthritis, so what did they suggest?

The vet can prescribe an anti-inflammatory. There is a supplement for dogs you can get from the vet, I presume there is a cat equivalent.
I'm surprised the vet hasn't already suggested this. What has s/he suggested?

we have taken him to the vets number of times they can't find anything wrong with him we thought it might be that

So he has an undiagnosed stiffness in the hip?
Adding Salmon Oil to his food can't hurt. I'll try and find the brand I use, but Fish4Dogs does one.
Might help, might not. Won't harm.

Nose clips must be used after meals.

You can get various supplements to ease arthritic pain...look for Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Brands are Cortiflex, Cosequin and Dasequin.
