Ideas for leftover bread
I defrosted my freezer this morning, having eaten pretty much everything that was in there beforehand.
However, I've got most of a loaf of bread left over (always in the freezer for emergencies) which, now that it's defrosted, I'd like to use somehow rather than waste it. I'm not a big eater of sliced bread so sarnies for lunch are out (and I don't have anything to put in them anyway!). Is there anything I can use the bread for which will allow me to freeze the results? |

Would I be able to freeze that though, bearing in mind that the bread's been frozen already? I did think about making a shed load of bread sauce but again wondered if I could freeze it.
I'd put it out for the birds, but they already ignore the seeds and nuts I put out for them!

There is no problem with re-freezing bread, you could even re-freeze your defrosted loaf. There may be an effect on the texture, in which case use for toast, but 'bug' wise there shouldn't be any danger.
