Actually in fairness I think on paper 26 year old Sinitta and ex dancer Jeremy were probably expected to do well.
I think the new skaters got a hard time with Bobby and Hilary and even Daniella was probably anticipated to be weak given her past and her crying so easily on IAC.

Ah yeah, just watching it on itv ctach up as i missed the whole show, handy that you can pause it so i can tell you where people are! Chris was also shown after Heather skated.
Got Suzanne as well, she was shown quite a bit actually, she's standing beside Phil with Corey in her arms before Heather skates. The main ones of her though are after Tana is on, cos suz, corey, her husband jk and his mate/work partner joel are right behind Gordon Ramsey. Nice to see them all there...
Jeremy's injury and 3 week lay off must have affected him - given equal training time as the others akin to his dance background I was really looking forward to some balletic performances.
Ah well - Hayley, Danny, Daniella and Gary survive to skate another week.

Good question. Unlike Strictly they aren't necessarily expected to hang around & do Pro routines (based on previous series). Am not sure about future series but it definitely will affect if they do the tour. Susie won't have a partner to skate with this year & neither will Andrei unless Clare comes back & does the tour. I would imagine the tour is quite lucrative financially as they play to big arenas.

Susie may well have Chris Fountain this year for the tour if Frankie does as well as expected with Danny !!!! She has skated with Chris before on the tour when Frankie injured a rib, so they are familar with each other. It would also be great to see Clare and Andrei back together. She has been given loads of hints on twitter that the fans would love it !!

I guess it's too early to speculate about the tour couples as we don't know how the series will pan out. Last year it was very obvious that the likes of Ray & Jessica would progress far & make the final. This year it's a lot closer. I think they cocked up last year by not inviting Donal so I think they may wait a while before confirming. Also, I guess it's not guaranteed if Chris will tour again - if he gets a good acting offer he can't turn that down now he's left Hollyoaks. I think realistically given there are a number of good boys this year, they can only invite 2 boys back from other years. I think Ray will definitely be back but have no idea if Chris, Kyran or even Donal will tour.

I know before christmas Ray confirmed he was doing the tour to a few people on his last day of grease which was late October early November. But lots of people have seen him in Birmingham over the last few weeks and been asking the same question and he has actually said he might do the tour but he is not sure now.
Not sure if thats something to do with how many good males there are this year or work Ray may have lined up that could clash with the DOI tour just thought i'd let you know after reading your post

As I said earlier think it will probably be a while before they confirm who's touring as they won't want to run the risk of booking someone up who goes early at the expense of someone who then gets to the final. They confirmed too early last year which meant that Donal missed out when as runner up he really should have toured. It's too difficult to predict this year so they won't want to make the mistake again.

How do you know that Donal didn't choose not to do the tour? I think he could have done more cities than he did if he was available.

He actually said he wasn't asked originally because the organisers didn't think he would get as far as he did in the series.
After he got to the final he was then asked to do Wembley but financially the tour organisers couldn't add him in full time. Availability wasn't an issue.
