Well I enjoyed Heather and Mikey's dances best!

I thought Heather's musical interpretation was very good. I sort of found myself getting lost in her performance.

Despite Emma's reservations, I thought Heather was feeling the music and I felt it with her.

As for Mikey and Melanie, there's something so sweet and endearing about these two. They make me smile

Whose performances did you enjoy most tonight?

Danniella and surprisingly Sharron.

I enjoyed Heather and Matt as well, she certainly takes it seriously, works diligently, interprets the music intelligently and produces good, consistent results. Also liked Daniella, Hayley, Danny, Mikey and Kieron. Oh and Gary!

Heather was really good and I agree her interpretation of the song was great - still think the getting in and out of thinks looks a bit dodgy though.

Mikey was good, however thought Gary outshone him tonight.

IMO best 2 - Daniella and Gary, however my 2 favourites that i'm rooting for are Emily and Keiron

To be honest I think Heather had some really good bits at times she did look awkward.

Agreed. I did quite enjoy Heather as well.

Nice to see Sharron & Emily improve too.

I agree totally about Mikey and Mel - sweet and endearing, slightly reminiscent of Donal and Flo

I also enjoyed the performance of Gary's costume. Phwoar

Also, nothing to do with performance but I am so happy Tana and Hilary got through.

My favourite performances would be Mikey's and Daniella's, though she's not a favourite of mine.

My favourite tonight was Danielle and by a long margin too. After her I enjoyed Mikey, Danny, Heather and Keiron. I would have included Gary but felt showing his daughter was very manipulative so this put me off his dancing.

I really love Mikey Graham - he just seems to enjoy it all and smile through everything, it makes him performances really enjoyable to watch, and even though he's obviously not a very 'natural' skater, he's doing really well, he tries everything, and his performances are great.

I like Gary Lucy and I think he has very good potential, but he isn't helping himself. Featuring his daughter could have worked if it wasn't constantly focused on her. They're obviously concerned about getting the public to like him, since he did so well last week with the judges but not with the audience, but I don't think he needs sympathy or the 'cute' factor, he has the talent, he just needs to enjoy it.

I like Daniella Westbrook a lot more than I expected to, I think she's trying really hard, and she seems quite natural on the ice.

He does have the warmest, most sincere smile that makes you want to smile with him

Lots of praise for Daniella. I must confess, I missed her routine. But I shall go and watch it at some point.

I disagree with this. Danny & Gary are probably better at this stage but he's actually pretty good. He had a stumble last week & I think it knocked his confidence a little. But hopefully a clean skate tonight will help. Also, he seems to have a really fearless attitude in training & this will help him to improve.

I don't think he's a bad skater at all. I just think he doesn't appear as 'natural' as it as, for example, Gary (in some ways), Danny, or Kieron are. I think he's struggled with the skating side of it more, and has worked harder to improve - he obviously throws himself into training. But as you say, that may just because his confidence was knocked a little after the stumble. I also think his performances have been some of the most enjoyable - he doesn't seem afraid to try out new things, and I think he did the required element tonight so well.

I also think he's proving himself to be a really likeable person, and it's lovely to see his personality come through. He's just got something about him that makes people smile, I think.

Liked Heather and Mikey, though I think Kieron and Gary edged it for me in terms of favourites.

Heather continues to surprise me with how much real performance ability she has, and I have to say I never expected Mikey to be anything but ungainly, but he's really proved he's a contender. About time he got himself some recognition outside of Boyzone, just like the rest of them.

But surely her performance ability comes from being on Dancing with the Stars where she would have been taught how to perform to an audience and how to dance?

I enjoyed Mikey and Mel's routine and was impressed with the amount of skating he did on his own.

I also enjoyed Hayley and Dan's routine as I felt it was more sincere than her first performance.

Sharron (one of my childhood heroes) had improved vastly - but what on earth had they dressed her in?

Jeremy and Dr Hilary should have been in the S/O IMO - with the Doc leaving.

I think those of us who've watched SCD realise that performance ability is one of those things you either have or you don't - you can learn elements of it, but if you don't have that spark inside you, you'll never be much good as a performer. Heather might have picked up a few tips on DWTS but I think she definitely has that spark.

Having seen some of the early performances of some of those who went on to win or at least be in the final of SCD I would say being on that show definitely brings out the performer in the competitors even some whose performance skills seemed to be pretty much zero at the beginning - Gough, Ramprakash, Gethin, this last winner can't remember his name (team Cola) so definitely think Heather has an advantage in performance skills having been on that show. I didn't see her at the start of DWTS though so can't say what she was like performance wise at the beginning on that. And she would definitely have learned dancing skills which come in useful on DOI like those hand movements.

This week I liked Daniella, Mikey and Gary.

Oh, I'm sure DWTS has helped Heather. But I think it's fair to say you can't polish a poo - without some sort of natural ability (just as Ramps, Gethin, Chris Hollins et al exhibited from the start) she wouldn't be able to do those kind of movements at all.

I enjoyed quite a lot of performances actually. I also liked Mike's performance. You can see the connection he has with his partner. I also liked Daniella's performance as well.

I felt Kieron could have made me enjoy him more if he's not so nervous and self-conscious about his physique (or the lack thereof), and if Gary is as charming on ice as he was in his home with delightful daughter India I might have enjoyed his performance more.

I liked Hayley's performance, but actually felt she was overmarked on Saturday. Don't agree with Nicky's 3 but I thought Mike did better than Hayley and they should be joint first.

Thank goodness Emily and Sharon seemed to have toned down their irritability considerably, which can only be good.

Overall, though it was a long programme, it was largely enjoyable.

I agreed largely what you said about Daniella and Mike, except I don't think Mike was technically weaker than the likes of Gary, Hayley or Daniella at all. He had a lot of challenging steps in his routine and despite having to skate alone and with his back against the pro (!), he's got this inate sense of musicality to be able to syn his steps with his pro. He put on a very sincere performance, and if he said he was nervous, I can't sense it at all from his routine.

As for Gary Lucy, it did warm me to him that the producers decided to flash the 'cute' card with his daughter India. He was technically good, but still a little lacking in his performance (a little self-conscious, strange considering he's an actor), but last Saturday's performance was considerably better than his first performance.

I enjoyed Mikey (he's definitely my favourite!), Daniella, and Gary. (IMO the VT about Gary's daughter was to try and get the public to 'get' him and see he's a nice guy).

I also enjoyed Heather's performance - she is beginning to grow on me cos whatever anyone thinks of her she is doing well and seems game to try whatever they ask her to do.

I liked Hayley and Daniel's performance too.

What about the doc - and did you inwardly cringe for your bit of hot tottie Jeremy?

For me it was as expected - Hayley and Danny with Daniella and Gary close runners up.

He is a nice guy - but bringing on the kids, nan and Great Uncle Bulgaria is imo a huge mistake.

We luv you Daddy/Mummy banners held a loft by a tearful youngster do not inspire me to reach for the phone with any urgency - usually the opposite.

Not a big Heather fan - but I regard DOI as entirely separate to her controversial public image and admire her guts in refusing to let her disability restrict her any more than necessary.

The Doc? I want to experience what his bedside manner is like

Gutted for Jez

I liked the three you mentioned too
