I am getting annoyed with Coleen Nolan. I liked her in Loose Women but her presenting skills in DOI are bad. I think she has become over-confident and is verging on unpleasant. I know she said it jokingly, but to point out to Torvill and Dean they lost an award and she got one was out of order. Furthermore, she likes to make a point of telling people they are looking good FOR THEIR AGE. How patronising and insulting! Did she just leave 6th Form College? I don't think so. Learn some respect Coleen, and don't get so over-confident of your popularity; people can shoot to the top and fall back down to earth just as quickly. Irritating.

I love all the behind the scenes stuff on the spin-off show.

I'm not keen on the bits with Ben and Colleen. They don't look comfortable and Colleen keeps coming out with rubbish and thinking she's funnier than she is.

Yes, agree with you both. Coleen has no chemistry with Ben and yet he is a good presenter. He needs someone with talent and fewer hangups. The behind the scenes stuff is great but she spoils it. I thought she was so rude I felt offended for the people she was speaking to. She is NOT witty though she clearly thinks she is.

I'd rather Ben presented by himself.

It would make his life easier and our viewing more enjoyable

Coleen can only talk about one subject and if it's not about her she will MAKE it about her. She thinks she's funny but isn't and comes over as very rude to other people.

Yes, it's all about Coleen in the end. She even fell out with her sister Bernie who's doing really well on Pop Star to Opera Star - probably doesn't like the fact she has real talent. CN is not a likeable character. I really thought she was a nicer personality than she is, but it's a facade and she can't help her true colours coming through.

And why does Colleen criticise some skaters for not moving very fast etc etc when she was so rubbish herself?? :yawn:

Find myself agreeing with you. She thinks she is far more talented than she is, more important than others and that she is the focus of the show. Her presenting skills are worse than her dancing ones therefore awful. Poor Ben she is dragging you down.

She got the sack from "This Morning" a few years ago because she was a crap presenter and she hasn't improved since then!

I really wish they'd bring back Defrosted. It was such a good show and I always like Stephen Mulhern on it, he always seemed to make Jayne Torvill laugh by just looking at her

Coleen is pants, but I fear DOI Friday would still be rubbish without her. I don't know why, but it just doesn't work - they tried a spin off last year with Holly, and that just fizzled out. It's too much a copy of ITT, but badly done.

Did she? Well she certainly has some supporters in big places trying to get her back in. They should pick carefully though. She presents like she is still on Loose Women - i.e. casual chatting with a bitchy, moaning, self-absorbed undertone which makes for good tv in that capacity but not as an anchor person or reality show presenter.

If they let Ben present by himself & increased the show to an hour it would be better. It's too rushed at the moment & too much Coleen yapping about herself.

And it was BAD! It was John Leslie that came in wasn't it. I think they got rid of Twiggy for John (who presented with Coleen) and then Fern joined John when they finally decided Coleen was ropey

I'm not going to watch it til they get rid of her. She makes jokes that only she thinks are funny and it's embaressing to watch.

She's a little pathetic, and only showing herself up.

Some people need to know when they're 'washed up' as it were.
