Oh, for goodness sake, give the woman a chance, she is nervous and it shows but I think that Coleen is great and I love her witty remarks. She is very funny and I cannot believe the nasty response on here!

The only supporters she has in big places are her Spanx knickers and hammock bras

She is an overpaid, overexposed up her own bum big head living off her past and big mouth

Are you sure about that? I think that you will find it was one of her other sisters that she fell out with not Bernie! It was about a argument with her husband and the other sister and then it got worst because two of the other sisters were not asked to do a reunion tour with Coleen, Bernie, Linda and Maureen!

What falling out with Bernie are you actually talking about?

As my Mum would have said "She gives herself a big tick". Ms Nolan is very full of herself and the question I ask myself is this. Why oh why did ITV choose to employ one of the worst skaters the programme has produced to front the Friday Spin Off Show? Perhaps she was going cheap!

Well we will just have to agree to differ on this one slappers r us because I actually think that Coleen is the nicest person on the Loose women panel alongside Jane McDonald. I dont think that certain people get her dry humour sometimes, but when others have often slagged off other women it will be Coleen that will stand up for them. I dont find her bitchy or nasty at all.

I have watched the show from the beginning and it is one of my favourite programmes and I think that it is so much better when Coleen and Jane are on there. Coleen has said herself that she does not like confrontation or arguments. So for me I think that certain people just do not get her! You only have to listen to the cheers that she gets from the audiance to see that she is one of the most popular on the panel! I think that the person that is stroppy and very touchy is Denise Welch and she can really get on my nerves sometimes and is also one that likes to give out the sarcasm and put downs but cannot take them back!

But at the end of the day, everybody to their own I say!

sadly ITV have not learn't from her "This morning" disaster
I like her on loose women where her role is to give her own bitchy opinions
but she really is dire as a main presenter who are expected to be neutral and really feel sorry for Ben bet he is crossing off the weeks till its finished

Love that phrase - never heard it before but get exactly what it means in respect of Coleen. I work in the day so don't have to suffer Loose Women thankfully. I found her irritating beyond belief last year though on the show. If it wasn't bad enough that we had to put up with her so called skating last year, we now have to suffer her on the DOI spin off show.

Oh I read she's fallen out with Bernie. I probably got that wrong as I just read what you wrote, so I retract that if that's the case.

Absolutely agree! She is great on Loose Women - probably one of the best presenters on there. But she cannot do a solo slot well or a reality show presenting slot as I said before. I do think she can present, but in a similar capacity to a Loose Women role, i.e. something gossipy, slightly bitchy, chatty and casual. Definitely nothing that requires any diplomacy or empathy!

I read that somewhere as well, can't say where though I think I read it at the hairdressers, she's already fallen out with at least two of her sisters which imho should be kept to themselves, not a good thing washing your dirty linen in public but then La Nolan likes to share her private life in a big way.

Love it! Please tell your Mum that there is a forum of users that will probably be adopting that one into their daily vocab now - me for one!!!!

I agree that is such a good phrase, love it too! And also will be using it in the future and describes Coleen to a tee.

I didn't dislike her before - I really liked her on Loose Women though it's not my favourite show; she is amusing and right for the role. I looked forward to seeing her on DOI as a contestant. I have observed a marked change in her which has turned my opinion. She has become over-confident and arrogant and this is what I has made me go off her a bit. Watching her present on the DOI behind the scenes show has been an unexpected nail in the coffin. I haven't come on here to just b*tch. In fact you will see it's the first time I've made any comment on the DOI forum and felt the need to do so after observing how she handled competitors (especially Dr Hilary) and even Jayne and Chris. It was awful. So I'm sorry you don't agree. That's the point of forums - having an opinion and expressing it, surely?

You might be right, I saw a headline in one of those Heat-style mags saying they had fallen out but never read it. I think the other sisters have always sung/acted Bernie being the most successful.

Colleen's been presenting for years surely she should be better than she is.

That was two years ago and it was only ever meant to be a few episodes and not the whole series. It was to introduce the Ice Star skating competition that they did last year.

Coleen was not a good choice of presenter. Ben would be much better on his own and it would save ITV some money as they'd only need to pay one salary.

No she just likes to get her own way and her own voice heard so I think what she meant to say was 'I don't like people who disagree with me as I am always right anyway so if they disagree then they aren't nice like wonderful me.'

Had no opinion on her before last years DOI but she came across as the most irritating self-serving narcissist - ughhhhh!

I love DOI but have not watched the friday show because Coleen is one of the presenters. Why on earth the producers thought she was the correct material after her performance on the rink, I'll never know.
Now if they brought on one of the ladies who did really well like Suzanne Shaw, that would be perfect. The likes of Suzanne has a good personality and seems friendly.
I think Coleen has become far too big for her boots, is not at all funny and is sometimes very rude.
I do hope the producers take notice to the public. Coleen stayed in each week because of her LW fan base just like LW won the award last week, their fan base. The other finalists were not able to ask the public daily for their vote like them.

I suppose the producers just thought that because she was so popular on DOI that DOI fans liked her and would want to see more of her. It was more the case that all the LW viewers migrated over to DOI to vote for her and now they've all disappeared again and the regular fans of DOI are just finding her irritating.

Thought we'd finally seen the last of her when she got voted off but sadly not! Hopefully the producers will take note of the negative feedback she's getting...
