I used to loathe Cilla (not in a love-to-hate-her way) as she was so panto. I enjoy her a bit more now as she has ...er... rounded out, so to speak while still being a grotesque.

Chesney is a very good little actor & I hope he stays on with 'Uncle Les' or Fiz, like Tyrone stayed on after his mum left -- quite likely as Cilla is not going to want him cramping her style when she leaves.

I agree little Chesney is a really great actor. His mannerims make him a little man in the making and I hope he gets some recognition soon!

Yeah, even if Cilla is kicked off the street when les wises up, I hope Chesney hangs around, hopefully Fiz will take him in, or maybe les himself.

My bet is that Les finds out about Uncle Ronnie from Chesney, chucks Cilla out and when she tries to put Chesney into care Les takes him in.

That'd be great. Lol, and if Leanne does come back then there'd probably be some hilarious sibling bickering between her and the new addition to the Battersby family. I doubt Fiz would be willing to let her brother go into care either. Les might find out about Uncle Ronnie if he overhears one of Cilla's ridiculously loud conversations with him over the phone. I mean we learnt how thin the walls of the Battersby's house are back when they were feuding with Curly. I seriously doubt that Les wouldn't catch a few words from upstairs at some stage. Here's hoping.

I doubt it somehow. I mean I don't think Les is going to remain in ignorant bliss forever. He doesn't even trust her completely at the moment because a lot of his faith in her was completely shattered due to the Fiz's credit card scenario.

I saw Wendi on a daytime program a while back - it was hard to believe she was the same person, really lovely.

Cilla - terrible ! what a character, so cringingly awful

Yeah, I saw her on one too and at first I didn't recognise her. She's incredibly different, but I suppose it was always unlikely that anybody could really be as foul as Cilla's character anyway.

Isn't that the idea though? Cilla, the character we love to hate?

Katie.

It pretty much is. Cilla's the kind of character everyone would be delighted to see getting her comeuppance and being thrown out.. but once she is then we'll start to miss her!

As much as I hate to watch Corrie, when it's on in my house, Cilla and Chesney make the show watchable!

Yeah, and there's likely to be some fireworks between the too (I mean in the ballistic sense, not romantically ) when Chesney realises her affair with uncle Ronny is still ongoing. Can't wait!

In the current spoilers it says that Cilla is leaving Weatherfield. Now I thought they were doing a prostitution story. Is she really leaving for good or is this plot development??

Well it looks as if our wish has been granted, because the spoilers say Cilla leaves and Chesney stays with Les.

I'm glad Chesney is staying. I think Les will make a great dad to him. I kind of want Cilla to stay around somewhere. Just to annoy the street sometimes lol.
