Detachable cable headphones?

Could someone recommend a set of headphones with detachable cables?

I'm always breaking the cables which renders the head phones useless, so was wondering which pairs have detachable cables for easy replacement.

Have a look at the Sennheiser range. They do some very fine headphones and even the cheapest sound very good.

The pair I have (no longer made) do have a detachable lead, they have a 3.5mm mini jack in one earpiece. I would be surprised if the current models don't have something similar.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I take it you can use a 3.5mm male to male lead to connect the headphones to any audio device?

Well if I ever lose or break the lead that comes with the headphones

That is basically what they came with, plus a 3.5mm to 1/4in jack adapter plug for proper grown up headphone sockets

Although thinking about it I'm not that sure now that the headphone end is 3.5mm, it may be 2.5mm. Not at home so can't check. But it is definitely a stereo jack so the same principle applies

Depends on your budget. I have recently got myself a pair of Nokia BH905's.
At £160 from play.com they are expensive but they are very versatile and have noise cancelling built in.
They can be connected to your device via cable or Bluetooth. Obviously Bluetooth and Noise Cancelling features will use the battery, but if the battery is flat then they can be used as a wired set of headphones. The sound quality is excellent and they come with an array of connectors which should suit most needs!
