Hi

I really want to order a dress that my daughter has been wanting for ages from Asos as it's now a bargain in the sale! The only thing is, the sizing. It's an Asos own brand, does anyone know how true the sizing is for Asos as she can vary from Next. H&M, Topshop etc.

Thanks!

I've always found it hit and miss. I bought a size 8 dress that was quite fitted in the top and it was pretty tight and I can normally fit into size 6 dresses in other high st brands. My sister bought a size 8 blousy top but it was too tight for her but fit me fine (quite loose though). One of my friends bought a top in size 12 (she's normally 12-14) and it was too tight for her but bought another top in size 10 that was too big.

They have free returns so you could always just send it back for another size if it doesn't fit. Or buy it in 2 sizes and send one of them back for a refund.

Use the code ASOSINSTYLE for 20% off - it includes sale items but not on GHD and premium brands. Expires 28/2/2010. No minimum spend apparantly.

Too late I'm afraid I've ordered it in a 12, so let's hope it fits her. I'll let you know

I have bought loads of tops from ASOS and everything fits me perfectly. I need a size 16 as i have massive boobs .... and everything is just right for me.

I have never dared buy trousers though as i really dont know what size my arse is !!

Asos is kinda weird sizing I've found. I once ordered two pairs of the SAME jeans but in different colours, both in size 10 (which usually fits) and one pair were too small, like more of a size 8 and the other pair felt more like a 14, they literally just fell down on me

I do love asos though

As much as i love Asos the one thing that really gets on my nerves are their sizes, i have stuff from them that are size 6 i have stuff thats size 10 and they feel like they're the same size. Its totally random.
