I collected my 6 month old cat from the vets a couple of hours ago after he went in to be neutered and as soon as i got him home i could smell unine really strong ..not sure if hes been sat in his own wee or weed durin op but it smells really strong.... should i just leave him to clean himself or maybe gently wipe affected area ??????

I would leave him to clean his self. I am sure hw will have peed because he is frieghtend. If you have concerned you vet should be able to put you mind at ease

ty - i'm not concernet at all he is jumpin around as if nothin has happened .......he just smells bad

If he's cleaned himself up to now I'd leave him to do it.

He probably has urinated on himself whilst under the anaesthetic.

My kitten who was brought too me has weed evertime he has gone to the vets somtimes poohed as well be honest even on the vets hand. He is only 4 months now.
