Im a extremely fussy eater!
Here are a few examples of the foods i will not eat and some reason why (you may think im crazy
)Kingsmill bread - smells like meat Any meat thats on a bone - dont know why. Any fat or skin off meat. Mushrooms - my mum used to cut them up very small and hide them in my meals but the second i got a piece in my mouth i immediately gipped. Seafood (Any kind) - Despite never having tried any kind of sea food, i will never let it pass my lips! Anyway i bring this up now because i have just purchased a ham and cheese salad sandwich from the local sandwich shop round the corner from work. It smells like wet dog!!! and its just turned my stomach so much i wanted to throw up. I consider myself to have a strong stomach. Iv cleaned up other peoples sick in the pub i work in at weekends many times before, not to mention the state of the toilets sometimes ![]() Anyway just thought id let you know. |

I also have a strong stomach except when it comes to certain foods. In fact, even the thought of some foods can make me wretch.

Ahh it takes me back to a time, June 2007 I think it was, when I bought a sandwhich from a garage. Esso I think or perhaps Texaco anyway they had a glass door. I remember thinking then that this sandwhich isn't of a very good quality despite having paid quite a lot for it. It was Ham salad I think..no cheese...no it was ham but definitely with salad, and honestly I couldn't eat it because the tomato had made the whole thing go all soggy. Quite a time I can tell you.

I'm not a fussy eater.
I can't actually think of any normal food that I won't eat. I prefer stronger flavours, so very fishy fish I love. |

I serious issue when it comes to sandwiches. The trick is to make sure the wetter ingrediants - tomato, cucumber - are placed safely between two layers of the main sandwich ingrediant; in this case ham. The protection the two layers provide ensure a sog-free snack.

If I do by a ready made sandwhich these days (which is unlikely what with the economic climate and all) then I just stay away from that whole issue and avoid anything with potentialy soggyfiying ingredients. I just steer clear of the whole hornets nest.

![]() ![]() For the record, under no circumstances will I eat... Potatos, carrots, parsnips, turnips, swede, pineapple, most red meats but especially lamb, marmalade, fruit cake, anything containing glace fruits (starting to feel sick now), anything from Maccy D's, Burger King etc, avaccado (really feeling sick now) and there is more, but it's coming up to lunch and I'm starting to turn my own stomach ![]() And no, I will never apply to go on Come Dine with Me

My mum tried that routine, even did the 'if you don't eat it now you're getting it as breakfast' routine, still didn't work, if certain foods make you gag, then hunger isn't going to stop you gagging.

To avoid the crap sandwiches why not make your own. I hate soggy sarnies. I just put the ingredients into a plastic tub and take a baggette. |

Ditto. And we had to sit up straight and ask to be excused from the table when we were finished!!!
No pudding either until you cleared the plate. I still hate carrots. (the dog didn't like them either which was a bit of a bu**er) |

I have issues with eating a sandwich that has a sell by date 3 days hence (and a lot of places do this). Who would knowingly eat a sandwich that was made 3 days ago? Not me chum.

My husband is quite a fussy eater, and it gets draining trying to think of dinner menus.
He wont touch anything with garlic in it, so making tasty casseroles or sauces can be hard. When you plate his food up, nothing can be touching. He isnt keen on any meat with bones on it, so although he will eat a pork chop - he will spend 10 minutes taking the middle out of the chop before he will begin eating. He wouldnt go near a lamb chop as he hates having to 'play with his food'. He doesnt like onion or pepper, so if i serve sweet and sour chicken again he will pick out all the bits he doesnt like before eating. It drives me mad
